Walk Good! A Jamaican expression of love- wishing you well when you leave. @walkgoodla

And a place for healing and joy founded by @walkgoodetienne for community. The vibe shifts when you enter this space. I found myself wanting to cry and laugh and sit in silence and awe. Every person needs to experience this space and what Etienne is building.

Thankful @taketheleadwithus and @on brought us here 🤎

Also 3rd slide - a feeling wheel for us! All the time I’ve been in the counseling world and I’ve never seen this.

Look for the helpers 🫶🏾

Today, I was interviewed by my good friend @emiliambenton and one of the questions was about brands and their role in equity. Look, brands exist to make money for their shareholders. But, if you’re lucky, within those brands, exist incredible humans like @xosahraxo, Lauren Vincent and Monica Morant. Thank you to those amazing humans for hosting @iammarthagarcia @jmurphy628 and me to share our wisdom, trials and tribulations building @taketheleadwithus with @on’s Right to Run recipients. The Community Impact summit brought together inspiring leaders truly changing the world through sport.

The core themes were:
1. Creating Spaces That Don’t Exist
Can you share the specific moment or realization that made you say, “This space doesn’t exist, so I have to build it myself”?
2. Authentic Community Building + Impactful Events
As a community grows, its dynamics naturally shift. How do you maintain the intimacy and core culture of your space as more people join?

Honored to work with Jess and Martha. And, if you can’t tell, we have SO much fun together. Swipe for evidence 🤣

See everyone at Take the Lead sooooon!

Happy Chinese New Year🧧 (Tet for us in Vietnam!) so special seeing how the country celebrates. And discovered Hanoi’s epic rooftop scene with views of a massive firework show!

Ending our “vacation” in Vietnam with Lunar New Year celebrations. From Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh, high-low food, lots of laughs, food and beers on sidewalk stools. Now onto our month long deep dive.

Had been craving a Tokyo revisit after going last Sept in the crazy heat, so instead I got a rare Tokyo snow and temps in the 20s! 🙈🥶 😂 still so happy to go back with Tim and Brad/Jackie visiting for the first time and visiting with Yu!!

Packed so much into 60hrs en route to Vietnam! Revisited faves, explored new. And so much 🤤
