It’s a strange thing having to get used to living alone again. In some ways I actually enjoy not being on a schedule ( and not having to think of what to cook for tea every night!)
In other ways I will miss my bestie so much - we love doing stuff together ( our latest being playing scrabble while watching one of our favourite shows 💗)

But I’m so happy she gets to go and live the dream at Uni - I had the best time at Uni and it’s only fair she gets to experience that too…..

If you’re an empty nester I totally get it and my inbox is always open ….

Happy Friday all xx

Literally had all the seasons today! English weather is mad! 😂

Countdown starts now for Yan going back to uni - in some ways it’s flown - but in other ways I’m aware she’s been home since May- so maybe a 4 month summer is long enough???l lol

So lovely seeing everyone’s back to school pics - but also sort of weird now - it’s been 3 years since we last did one and it’s been 16 years since her first reception picture! Time really does fly!

Happy new week all xx

So things have been a little quiet here since Yan left so I’ve set myself a 20 day challenge to paint every day for 20 days.

I’m on day 5 and it’s been so much fun - follow me on here @jo_jodesigns or on TikTok ( under the same name) to see how I’m getting on 😊

Happy Hump Day all xx

I’ve talked about this on my stories - but seriously what is up with how expensive mini eggs are and how many you get in a packet? This is a little under 3 packets??!!

I painted today for the first time in months and I felt every part of me instantly relax. Reminded me why I love doing it so much! If you want to check out my art - I have an art account called @jo_jodesigns

Hello ‘ber’ months - I am so ready for you 🍂

As soon as my birthday is done - I dive into Autumn. Late Spring and early Autumn are my absolute favourite times of the year - and the fact that it’s September now means that it’s time to get cosy! ( went out in a sweatshirt today even though it was 20 degree weather …. 😂🤦‍♀️)

Happy new month all! Xx

This week I’m going to finally get my Etsy shop up and running again ( it’s been closed since Christmas 😂🙈)
This is the hard bit for me because I have to photograph everything and upload it all which takes far more energy than I currently have - but I know I’ll feel so much better when it’s done 😊

If you want to take a peek towards the end of the week this link is in my bio of my art account @jo_jodesigns

So I’ve been searching through IG for the last week trying to find a print that will go in my new bathroom … it suddenly struck me last night that I, in fact, paint and may have something suitable…. 😂😂

Just need to pop this on the wall and get a plant and I will feel like we’re almost there!

I finished ‘It Starts With Us’ in a night! So good! Would highly recommend 💗

Been a chilled few days here - I’m trying to get back into doing yoga regularly - but also making sure I’m resting enough so it doesn’t bring on a flare up - fingers crossed I can get the balance right!

Happy Tuesday all! Xx

Ended up being a slightly more manic day than I was expecting - but I’ve had therapy and finished re-reading ‘On Dublin Street’ by Samantha Young (which I forgot how good it was!) and I’m now finishing my day by watching more GG and crocheting pumpkins 💗

Ta-da! A cute little upcycle moment. I’ve missed painting and getting a little creative so much so this was really nice for me to do 💕 what do you think?!

Hey everyone! It’s been a while but I just thought I’d share a quick living room update! I’ve only changed up a few things in here but I’m so surprised at what a difference it’s made to the feel of this room!

I’ve tweaked the colour palette slightly to make it more muted and to help tone down the vibrancy of the wall colour. I switched out the pink and added in more neutral tones and textures which has created a more balanced and calm space for us to relax in!

On that note, I hope you all have a lovely week, and I’ll probably see you again in six months!

Siobhan 💛
