We’re talking about what it means to build your own lane when the world didn’t exactly make one for you.

We’re proud to introduce your host for the night, Jezelle Anim-Addo. BU grad and New England Emmy Winner.

In the city that never sleeps, on a sunny afternoon, we chose Resonance.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and brought your full selves into the room.

Deep gratitude to the spirit and facilitation of @heyhighestself . The way you guided stillness into something collective is the reason people leave Resonance changed.

Thank you to our amazing partners at @wordupbooks for opening your doors to us again and again. Your space serves as the perfect backdrop for shaping this experience.

And deep appreciation to @joaamedia. Through your lens, you documented wellness, community, and joy with intention and care.

Welcome to Pulse: Soul of Boston 💜

Black culture in Boston has always existed — in its streets, its institutions, and its people. This show traces that continuity from abolitionists to artists, from meeting houses to music clubs, from food to film.

So if you’ve ever wondered, “Is there Black culture in Boston?” Don’t worry. We have the answer.

February 27th. Save the date. You don’t want to miss this.

I had the ABSOLUTE PLEASURE of creating a mini-documentary about @elizaasante and her experience in dance. 💃🏾

Eliza has been dancing almost all her life (and is rly good at it lol), and I tried to capture her talent and energy as best I could.

Thanks to @bu_vibes for letting me stalk y'all for a bit!
