It's that time of year again! I exhibited six of my paintings at my art club's annual exhibition, and had a lovely time. Nothing new to exhibit this year, but it's always nice to take part, and see members of the public enjoying art.

I'm also SO SO proud of my mum @joanbell.art for winning the public vote for best painting for the first time!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Second photo shows her with the trophy and her award winning painting 🙂

Really pleased to share I won the public vote for Best Painting for my soft pastel piece "Sumatran Beauty" at my art society's exhibition - 4th year running 🙂 Here's a very rare photo of me with my winning painting, including my beautiful mum @joanbell.art with her painting "Smartening Up"

It’s always a delight and a privilege when an artist draws one of my photographs. I know how hard @joanbell.art has worked on this shot of two baby swallows. Do check out her wonderful gallery which, amongst much else, charts the creation of this lovely image #birdart #birdartist #birdpaintings #natureartwork
