Three ways to make sure your resolutions actually stick
.
1. Get clear on your why. If it’s vague, it won’t survive hard days

2. Start acting like the person you want to become now, not later. Identity comes before results

3. Have accountability buddies and create systems. Motivation fades. Systems don’t
.
Most goals don’t fail because people don’t want them badly enough. They fail because there’s no structure behind them
.
Let’s be better this year! Share this with someone who needs it

2025 Anaheim | HYROX PRO
.
After completely rupturing my Achilles seven months ago, I set my eyes on this race as a comeback. I knew I wouldn’t be fully healed, but I also knew it was something I could still do
.
I went in with three goals; finish the race, go sub 1:10, and don’t make my injuries worse. Mid-race, it became clear the time goal wasn’t happening. The doubt crept in, and quitting crossed my mind. Instead, I shut the noise off, stayed present, and channeled that inner Goggins mentality to keep moving forward
.
This wasn’t about proving anything to anyone else. It was about proving to myself that I can still do hard things, even with limitations, even when the outcome isn’t what I originally planned
.
I finished. I stayed healthy. I walked away proud
.
If you’re waiting to feel “ready” before you show up again, don’t. Progress doesn’t require perfection, just courage to start where you are

MOVEmber day 20 called for shrimp squats. So we had the squad try the challenge here in IB. It looks easy until you actually do it. Proud of everyone for givin it their best shot!

Let the mind control the body, not the other way around
.
Someone asked if I was a SEAL because of how hard I push. Truth is, I’m just working through my own battles. Achilles still isn’t 100%, but that doesn’t stop me from showing up. Your body will quit before your mind does

I’ve stepped in the Roxzone multiple times, from the ruck division to pro! Now I’m bringing all that experience to @sweatcircuitcoronado. Starting September 8, I’ll be leading classes designed to push limits, build race-day strength, and get you ready to compete. If you want to train with a seasoned HYROX champ, this is where you need to be
