I know a queen called Chi Chi,
Who was truly special in every way
She hailed from Shreveport Louisiana and worked two jobs in a day.

She then went on to Ru Paul,
for all the entire world to see,
As she walked into the work room
In black garbage bags looking SUPREME.

And as the show went on, into our hearts she came,
Twerking upside down and rapping
Like a shot of adrenaline,
Our world could not be the same.

A queen with such heart and natural southern charm,
She won a trip overseas to New England
And anytime she did a lip sync, we were anything but CALM!

She was a total dancing queen that loved to cook turkey necks,
Her performances are legendary but
It was our hearts that she most flexed.

She came from a place that was tough and she said she had it hard,
And a lot of us understood what she meant,
Some of us were from the same backyard.

Don’t get me wrong, She could turn a look or two as WELL
From pageant to pure paper fantasy
Some moments so beautiful,
Even when she got read to HELL !

Chi Chi, you Remember gurl, you will ALWAYS be an ALL STAR
And when You lip synced “Your gonna looooooveee me “
You were right and we do, only now from afar.

Go Twerk up in heaven like something those angels never seen,
Might be time for you to go join them
but you’ll always be our Bayou Queen.

A sad day for this world without you here it won’t ever be the same
Always loved,
Always remembered,
always
