I am happy to announce my verbal commitment to Wingate University, where I will continue my academic and athletic career. Excited to continue doing what I love for the next four! Gracias mami, papi, y pipe por siempre apoyarme en todo, por los sacrificios, y por nunca faltar cuando los necesito ❤️. To ALL of the coaches, friends, and family who have been part of this; thank you for helping me grow into both the athlete and person I am today.

Coach Sara and Coach Jodie
Gustavo, Cheyenne, y Jose…
You guys have taught me what believing in myself can do and have been a huge part of my life in the past year, thank you 🫶

Special thanks to Coach Rad for this opportunity!

I’m extremely excited to announce that I’ll be continuing my athletic and academic career at the University of Arizona for triathlon!!!

Thank you so much Coach Wes and Coach Jossi for giving me the amazing opportunity of joining this program and believing in my potential, I’m so excited to put in the work and see what I can do!

None of this would’ve been possible without the endless support of my friends, family, teammates, and coaches. Thank you Coach Sara and Coach Jodie for always believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself, for pushing me past my limits so I could get to where I am now and have these amazing opportunities to improve myself in the sport and as a person. Thank you Mom and Dad for always supporting me and making sacrifices to get me to all my races, practices, and just making sure I love what I do. Who would’ve thought that one small kids triathlon you guys signed me up for would lead to all of this…

So excited to begin this new chapter in Tucson!!

What happens when you’ve spent years racing at the very highest level… and then decide to make the jump to longer distances?

Charlie and I wanted to find out when we sat down with Jodie Stimpson for the podcast.

Jodie started her triathlon journey at just 8 years old.

Fast forward a few years and she had won two Commonwealth gold medals and become a 4x World Triathlon Series winner.

Now she’s taken on a new challenge: the 70.3 distance.

And she’s already notched up some impressive wins.

We talked about what it’s like to move from short-course racing to middle distance, how having more flexibility with race selection changes things, and the iconic races Jodie has her sights set on.

But we also talked about something much more personal - the Olympics.

Jodie worked incredibly hard to get there and came so close. What happens when you have invested so much into a dream… and it doesn’t quite happen?

A CAREER TO REMEMBER 🇬🇧

From a young @jonnybrownleetri making his mark on the world stage, to standing on Olympic podiums, winning world titles and racing in front of packed home crowds.

There have been victories, battles, heartbreaks, celebrations and plenty of moments shared with his brother Alistair.

Some moments will be remembered for the result. Others simply for the way Jonny raced from the front across swim-bike-run.

For nearly two decades, he has given triathlon some of its most unforgettable moments.

And today, we say goodbye to one of triathlon’s all-time greats.

Thank you, Jonny. 💙

I almost didn’t make a post for this race, but I feel it’s important to be open and transparent if I’ve opted to be active on social media.
This year has been so packed full of challenges, I wouldn’t be able to pick just one to talk about. Between my accident in January, to having a labral tear in my hip come May, to juggling the stresses of finishing PA school and life, it seemed that every time training started to become consistent, something new became an extra challenge to overcome.
The road to success is never easy, and I would never want it to be easy, but this year has been full of surprises that I hadn’t expected to face.
Although this year’s race wasn’t what I wanted it to be, I am just thankful that I got the opportunity to compete. I’m forever thankful to God to bringing triathlon into my life because despite all the challenges, I have yet to lose my love for the sport.
Thank you to @rockandarmor, specifically @loganderoin.dpt.cscs for getting me through my accident and @sunnychuang.dpt and @natelundberg3pt for getting me through my hip.
Thank you to my dad for coming with me to nationals despite being on minimal sleep from work and cheering me on.
Thank you to @zootsports and @rudyproject, for the best race gear. With a special thanks to @buentingm for looking out for me.
And most importantly, thank you to my amazing coach and role model, @jodiestimpson, I seriously couldn’t have made it through without you.
Cheers and onto the next challenge!! 🩷

New friends. Old friends. The best teammates and coaches. Family. Rain. Sunshine. Laughter. Hugs. Skipping down hills. Swimming. Biking. Running. Cake. ❤️

These are the moments we’ll remember long after the race is finished.

Nationals wasn’t just about the race—it was about the memories made along the way. The little moments are the ones that end up meaning the most.

USAT Youth and Junior Nationals, you did not disappoint. 🇺🇸💙

Jodie is one of the most resilient athletes I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Her determination, work ethic and positive attitude were inspiring. It was a pleasure treating her whilst she was here in Australia.

Transition Queen didn’t happen overnight. 👑⚡️

It took countless reps, patience, mistakes, and determination. This year, E made it a priority—and the difference speaks for itself. Watch until the end… you won’t regret it. 🙌

@slaptriteam @sara7411 @jodiestimpson please know the difference you make in these kids lives. See you in 5 days. 💪🏼

While I would have loved to be fit, fully healthy and racing IM70.3 Boise, this past week was more than I could have dreamed of. Every ounce of energy I poured into the week was received back ten-fold from my triathlon fam. Thank you to everyone who made it possible:

To @resolutewealthracing for making this a team race and supporting the post race party.
To @realtrisquad for also supporting the post race party and trusting us for a good time. It’s great having teams collaborate even if we are “frenemies” on the race course 😜
To all the partners who provided sweet raffles at the party.
To @precisionfandh and @ironmanamericas for supporting Float with the Pros.
To @haleychura23, @jamiemonroe1, @protriathlontraining and the broadcasting team who welcomed me to the commentary crew. So cool seeing the behind the scenes of what you do, how you do it, and the passion behind showcasing the athletes and events.
To Jason Michaud, the race director, who put on a safe and successful race. Thank you for finding a way for the pros to have a swim. And thank you for answering my five million texts in the months leading up to race day.
To the Boise community for welcoming the race. I know these races can have a big impact on your daily life…so thank you for supporting it for a few hours on your Saturday.

To all the athletes, congrats on your race and I hope to see you next year! ❤️💪🏼
