@nathan.haines is in town for ONE NIGHT ONLY TONIGHT.
Playing at Collingwood Basement in @newguernica friday night, he kindly gave us some more copies of his last 12” with remixes by @christopheltruento @crackazat @chaosinthecbd_ @atjazzofficial and @jkriv

Then Nathan handed me his latest album made by himself @joekaptein and @elijah_whyte absolutely beautiful music that was captured live in a single day, using vintage equipment and running through an old Neve console. It is SOFT CHAOS.

“There’s chaos in the sense of openness and unpredictability, but there’s also softness — not softness of volume, but softness of approach. A sensitivity to the space, and to the musicians around you.”
— Nathan Haines

A generational musician right here right now.

One signed copy for the fastest jazz funk freak.
