year 1 vs year 3 💖✨👑💫
•
almost three years ago today, I checked in for the first time to the Miss. Kansas Volunteer pageant, and in that moment I didn’t realize how much this system would change me. Over the past three years I’ve grown as a person through different life challenges, personal growth and ultimately growth in areas of social media, fundraising and volunteerism. one of the BIGGEST reasons why I keep coming back to MKV is the sisterhood and my directors. Madi + Jaci, thank you for loving me like one of your own, late night chats, and keeping me in-line and showing me my worth.

this weekend, my goal is soak up my last teen pageant and all the experiences I am given. My “why to pageants” is to show girls if they set their mind to a dream, that they can achieve it. For the past three years i’ve paid for every single gown, photoshoot, hair and makeup or anything that comes to pageantry. if you are someone that’s been following my journey and have always wanted to try pageant, this is your sign. YOU. CAN. DO. IT. don’t let that little bug in your mind tell you can’t because you can.

Feeling so incredibly loved after the sweetest send-off party!

I am beyond blessed to have a family who believes in me, supports my dreams, and helps make moments like this possible. To my parents and sisters 🫶 thank you for putting together such a beautiful send-off and for always being my biggest cheerleaders. I truly couldn’t do this without you!

And to everyone who came to celebrate with me, sent a message, called, shared a post, or simply wished me luck 😚THANK YOU! Your love and encouragement mean more to me than you know.

As I head to Nationals, I’ll be carrying all of your love with me. I’m so excited for this next adventure and incredibly grateful for everyone who has helped me get here.

Here’s to making memories, representing Kansas with pride, and soaking up every moment!
