POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What an unforgettable and transformative week at Prussia Cove Open Chamber Music Week 3. Being in the UK this entire week was truly special, inspiring, healing, organic, and atmospheric. I feel so blessed to have been moved by the incredible nature and kindness around me, as well as the essential artistry of everyone I had the privilege of sharing this experience with.
Every rehearsal was a discovery, and the sense of wonder and curiosity was limitless. A huge thank you to all of the kitchen staff (for the wonderfully comforting and delicious food!) and the office staff as well. I felt so much love and care from every single one of you.
From chamber music readings every night, to afternoon tea and desserts, to swims and hikes, this week was a true reminder of what sharing music with each other—and the beauty of life—is really about.
What I have learned from reading with you all, listening to concerts, rehearsing, having conversations, and simply enjoying nature together is truly irreplaceable.
Cheers, @ims_pc!! 🤍

It’s already been a few weeks since we returned from the last @balthasar_neumann_ensembles proj , and I still can’t quite put into words how grateful I am for these past few months.
This year has been absolutely crazy: I finished my master’s degree in Zurich while starting another one, all while travelling across Europe, by train, hoooours on trains! As much train travel as possible, please. We simply can’t keep ignoring what’s happening.

This journey has been an incredible lesson, both musically and personally. I can’t fully express my admiration for the wonderful women who make all of this possible, or how deeply they have inspired me as a young adult. Their courage to pursue an idea they truly believe in, their ability to face difficult situations with integrity, and the constant reminder that empathy still has a place in a profession where staying true to your values can sometimes be a challenge, you are the most beautiful example of that.
Thank you to the amazing Pablo 🫶

What a gift it has been to bring together such wonderfully different personalities, it was sometimes challenging but really inspiring
Alkistis, for her patience and for always listening, meeting Emilie again, Anna, whom I will miss so much, for Paolo, Anna and Anna, Karin, Jonathan, Hannah, Elia, and all the others.... the wonderful, silly, funny, inspiring, sometimes grumpy, frustrated or sad, but always deeply human. ❤️
Meeting the Cubans was deeply moving and profoundly inspiring, they reminded us of what truly matters and making music with them was amaz
And then there are all the places and moments that will stay with me: beautiful Maulbronn and its lake, Barcelona in the rain, Uruguayan dulce de leche, the wonderful Thomas, Fontainebleau, which now holds such a special place in my heart, Munich and dancing after concerts, the sight-reading sessions, singing together, chamber music... It will take me quite some time to process it all, because it was such an intense and unforgettable experience.
A thousand thanks for helping me grow. I feel much more grounded and aligned with myself today, and you have all played such a huge part in that.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

Kirill Petrenko conducts the Karajan-Akademie 🎶

Our concert on May 13 featured chamber music by French composers such as Debussy and Ravel, alongside Schubert’s Symphony No. 4 in C minor — a work written by the composer at just 19 years old and now performed by the young musicians of the Karajan-Akademie.
