We’re back! Don’t miss our annual Summer Open Studios event on the 21st and 22nd of August, where our residents makers will be throwing open their studio doors, and we’ll be joined by a wonderful selection of guest makers. There’ll be plenty of familiar faces, some returning to the Makers Yard for the first time in years, and also a smattering of brilliant new local talent.

Part of the Nidd Art Trail, we will have delicious food, drinks, buckets of creativity, and a fantastic atmosphere. See you there! ✨

Another fantastic print has arrived on the shop today:

'This land is our land' by @jogeeart

Jo says:
"My linocut print of a fox pair with a red kite flying above them in the Yorkshire Dales.

For me, home means a feeling of belonging and safety. When I walk in the hills, enjoying nature and wildlife, I feel most at home. It's where my heart is. We see beautiful red kites flying over our home every day. It's their home too. We've yet to see foxes here, but they are one of my favourite wild animals, and I know they aren't far away.

The title, 'This land is our land', is a nod to the Woody Guthrie song, 'This land is your land'."

Thank you so much Jo, we really love it! 🦊😍
