My greatest adventure of 2024 - Hiking 4 days on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. This trip left me speechless and awakened my soul at the same time. I still can’t put it into words when asked “how was Peru?” Hiking 26 miles through the Andes Mountains at a high altitude was the most challenging and rewarding experience I’ve ever pushed my body through.

We’d wake up to a “good morning, cocoa tea?” at our tent, and then we’d go to bed with a hot water bucket to wash our feet. We disconnected from everything happening in the world, connected with nature, and with each other. Made friends with strangers from all over the world and learned about their cultures. Our only care in the world was to just make it to the next stop. And yes I was the last one to make it to each rest stop… every single time. But nevertheless, I am so freaking proud of myself✨

If you’ve ever considered hiking the Inca Trail… if I can do it, you can too 🫶🏼 (and book it through @gadventures !!)
