New grandpa!

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We asked our staff how long they’ve worked at Bethany… and then let AI do the rest. 😂

Same staff. Same jobs. Just… significantly less qualified. 😂

How long have YOU been part of the Bethany family? 💙

Big things are happening in Long Beach!

Yesterday, we celebrated the installation of Johnny Trinklein as a church planting Vicar! Johnny’s vicarage is a pilot for the new church planting vicarage program being developed between @coastalmission, @psdlcms, and @concordiasem. Johnny is being sent into the Belmont and Marina neighborhoods alongside Coastal Mission’s executive director, @johnalwood, to build relationships, gather a missionary team, and help lay the groundwork for a new church we pray will emerge there.

Bethany is honored to serve as the local sending and hub church for this exciting work—part of a larger vision to plant four new churches across Greater Long Beach and 25 along the Southern California coast over the next six years.

Please keep Johnny, @coastalmission, and the communities they’ll serve in your prayers as God opens doors for what’s next!

Great rolling out with Pastor Hector Medina to Plant LB gathering of Church Planters in Long Beach to hear from Peyton Jones. Drive back to find my wife writing letters of encouragement to the #sendlosangeles planters wife’s. Love these days of pouring into Church Planters that are happening. Each Planter I meet equals hundreds of new followers of Jesus.

Thank you, John, Rick, and Daniel, for this beautiful reminder of the beauty of the gospel of Jesus. It helped me to pause and pray as we get ready for services today and tomorrow. #gospelventures #carepackage #humbledandblessed

Excited to be here with @church_planting in #houston to gather with our Multipliers Learning Community and have conversation around multiplication and making disciples. The future of the church is in your hands. @plantlb @johnalwood @danieljameskatz

Check out Trail Head Podcast to hear them interview one of our Pastors, Mrs. Long Beach 2017 @autumnkatz, share her heart on intentionally loving your community and how to use what God has given you to impact others. From a pageant, (yes, we said pageant!) to painting shells (by a 3 year old!) you have tools in your hands that God can use. Link in bio 🙌🏻
