Throwback — 5th place at @johncyriacc debut show at WNBF UAE. Posting this a little late, but it deserves its moment.

Coming into this show, we honestly didn’t expect anything crazy. The main goal was simply to bring a balanced physique to the stage, and that’s exactly what we did.

This was easily John’s best look since we’d started working together 14 months prior.

So much improvement had been made physically, but also through the discipline and consistency he built throughout that prep.

At the same time, we know winning never comes easy in this sport. We still had more muscle to build compared to the athletes we stood next to on stage. We took the feedback, learned from it, and kept building from there.

John executed everything I asked of him during that prep. Amazing work ethic, trusted the process fully, and showed up every single day.
Most guys don’t have a motivation problem. They have an honesty problem.

Also big thanks to @wnbf_pro_sumit_srivastav Sumith for helping bring the best posing package to the stage.

Just the beginning.

In Dubai & Filming my non profit, selffinanced series Hospitality Hope Exploring & Dining in Dubais small but superb, family run eateries is super fun and super fab with the young brilliant videographer & editor john cyriac. He s shoots with us but resists all temptations to eat since hes on a strict diet “cutting” (he calls it) thats becoz hes following his passion ...body building. No random changes every week — just sticking to the plan, staying disciplined, and improving over time. His trainer #SuhailNazim is superb. Me the fat tub is inspired to learn from him. Wow what a transformation kudos John cyriac, all the very best for your body building show on 24 th May. Your dream come true. May ALL your dreams come true! Always!

18 months with John and project #1 done.

Crazy to see the difference now.

Before joining me, he had already been training for around 3 years.

He was consistent in the gym but just spinning his wheels with no real structure or direction.

Over the last 16 months we just took things step by step.

Mini cut.

Long growth phase.

Priming phase.

Then prep.

No random changes every week.

Just sticking to the plan and improving over time.

Prep is almost coming to an end now and the physique looks like a completely different person 🤝

Never pose to show effort. Pose to show control.
Judges don’t reward how hard you flex.

They reward control, right execution, balance, and confidence.
If it looks effortless, it looks elite.

Competing soon? Posing isn’t last-minute work.
Start early.
