The definition of a client who trusts the process.

Jack first met me with a short back and sides and over the years we set up a game plan to grow his blonde mane out. In the process, we added an under cut to the mix. Then in order to get to the final product you see here, he had to grow that out to an appropriate length. He stuck with it and now look at this handsome devil!

My chair is always open to new clients. Find me at Fellow Barber in Williamsburg, BK.

@prattalumni appreciation post. These people, along with multiple other Pratt kids and Professors not seen here, became my family and the community I longed for as a kid growing up in Long Island. When I was graduating High School, the guidance counselor told me to stay local, find a job and settle down— she didn’t think it was wise to apply to an expensive art school and take a risk. Thanks to @lukelove for literally printing out an application for me and for @chinabullproblems and her Dad for driving in to Brooklyn for an interview. Even though I deferred my acceptance for a year, I showed up in 2003, and immediately knew I found a special place, and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else. Every moment and person contributed to where I am now. Thank you to all my Pratt family for being such a big part of my heart and for always showing up. I love being on this path with you all.

Still beaming from our opening of “In the Ecstasy in the Sun.” Thank you to everyone who came out and shared the evening with us. This show was an organic conversation that blossomed into something even more harmonious than we could have anticipated. A heartfelt thanks to Rick @rwfa_nyc , for his eye that brought us together and that paired the works impeccably, as always, and his tireless efforts. And deepest thanks to Rachael @rachaelwren for being such an amazing partner in this synergistic experience. Excited for all that comes next. ✨

These are the final submission photos taken by the phenomenal @maxypaintsminis for the 4 Year Anniversary of @dm.stash , taken about 3 hours before the contest closed at midnight PST 😝 we were really burning the midnight oil to get these out. No better motivator than a deadline!

Go give Max a follow and scroll to the end to see his fantastic work. Those tiny fingers! And he handmade that bamboo! 🍃

These were printed on an Elegoo 3D resin printer at a later height of 25-30 microns. The difference is definitely noticeable I just don’t always have patience for prints to take twice as long!

I recently entered a painting contest for the Fourth Anniversary of @dm.stash miniatures, and was thrilled to make the top ten finalists through popular vote!

Just learning to slow down and work with intention was a big step for me on my journey with miniature painting. Not to mention describing texture, light, learning how to apply glazing, etc. I probably spent around 15-20 hours on this miniature, more than I ever thought I could spend on a single figure: even starting over when I painted too heavily and fast on my first sample.

I should shout out @maxypaintsminis for being an amazing mentor and friend and recommending this contest in the first place! Also the photography 📸, which I’ll post the final results next.

Hoping this page can be a good home for updating my journey in the hobby. Thanks for coming with me! 🖌️

We hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving last week, and unlike November’s Art League theme there was no ‘Awkward Family Dinner!’ We’re grateful to all the artists, audiences, and judges who showed up for the match & looking forward to seeing everyone December 15th for this season’s semi-finals!
