Night 3 of the local music tour for me. My good pals The Revivalists played at Red Rocks last night for the 10th time and it was nothing less than perfection. I am so incredibly blown away by their stellar career and mind blowing live show. And how cool that they honored Dolly Parton on 9-25 night with an incredible New Orleans singer. Love them so much. Now I sleep.

Many of the wonderful people involved in making A Mile South of Heaven came out last night. From left to right that’s Bonnie Whitmore, Eleanor Whitmore, Shooter Jennings, Chris Masterson, Mark Rains, and John Schreffler. Beyond grateful for your talent and the heart you all put into making this record with me. 🙏 Much love! ❤️

August was HOT in every way possible! A perfect summer month. There were celebrations of love and friendship and hard work. Nights under the stars with some of my favorite people singing along to the music of my younger days. Another visit to Sphere for boy band bliss. One more epic Three Pianos show. Summer 2026, you were an absolute blast!

this past year I had the honor of taking the reigns on creative for the new @therevivalists record. beside these eight fellas and the team at @c3mgmt / @itsreahlykatie, we were able to build something real special for the guys. ‘get it honest’ is the best and most complete revs record to date, and I feel very blessed to have put my stamp on it. 🫶

kicking off revs tour with @redclaystrays today.

I see @thedavidshaw from @therevivalists most mornings at my local coffee shop. I can't recall how we were introduced, but we've done our fair share of talking since. I always have a pile of work in front of me, which interests David. And I'm always curious to hear about his family, alchemy, and music. We started talking about the band's new album, Get It Honest, before they even got in the studio, and I promised I'd nudge @c3mgmt and @concordrecords about doing something together, if the stars aligned.

While I had David, I asked about the title. He said it reflects the Southern phrase "I get it honest," which implies you come by a trait, quirk, or habit naturally. You didn't learn it, you were born with it. Those traits can be positive or negative, and the phrase sorta exists as an absolution. Oh, I can't help it, I get it honest. @anneblenker and I are currently traveling Nova Scotia to unravel our own family's Acadian history, curious to learn about past traumas and triumphs we have inherited. It's all fascinating.

To address honesty in a digital activation, we thought about making fans take a lie detector test. It's a concept I've chased in past projects that never saw the light of day, and I was excited to approach it with fresh eyes and technology. We've landed on an Honest Detector at getithonest.com, which asks several questions then determines if you're being honest. First, it looks at the movement of your eyes, head, and body. Did you look away? Is your body shifting around? It also determines how long it takes you to answer. Are you hesitating? We've even built in a live polygraph so you can see these readings in real time. At the end, you'll get your honesty score to share, and you're encouraged to check back weekly for new quizzes.

The icing on the cake? Everyone who takes the test is entered to win an actual, autographed Stoelting Deceptograph. A real vintage polygraph.

Did you Get It Honest? Take the test today at getithonest.com

Many thanks to @drewneedssleep, @theadamesmith, @johnmorganyoung, @itsreahlykatie, @valerante, @samia_707 and the teams at @c3mgmt and @concordrecords for their help in making this happen. They get it honest.

There’s nothing better than New Orleans during @jazzfest. The best hangs, the greatest food, and most of all, the most incredible music in the world. Feeling blessed to contribute to the magic this city has to offer with our #FestByNite series.

The @liveforlivemusic x @gmplive x @dayglopresents x @spinmag teams crushed it with 24 shows and 10 sold-out events.

Shoutout to @elprezshow and @gidplot for burning the candle at both ends until sunrise every night to make it happen.

Who knew a random off-day from tour in Nashville a few years ago with @thedavidshaw and @pjhow2 would have turned into this!!
So proud to be a co-writer on Heart Stop and grateful to @therevivalists and their team for recording it and putting it out! 💜💜

I hope it can resonate with you in some way shape or form.

P.s. if you listen closely you’ll hear you boy on some BGVs :)
