Behind the scenes painting the main character for the Stoneline mural! 🐺🎨 To me, the beautiful gray wolf symbolizes strength, community, wisdom and wildness🐾 This experience was extra special because I heard wolves howling in the valley while working on the piece 🩶 I turned off my music and listened to their mystical, powerful calls. The festival also fell on the harvest full moon weekend 🌕 perfect alignment for Stoneline 2026✨

Had the joyful honor of creating this mural at @fungiacademy 👁️🍄‍🟫 The opportunity came up spontaneously during my 5 week stay in April and May. I am so beyond grateful for the trust and support I received during this process🙏

This piece celebrates fungi as a whimsical centerpiece in the elemental dance of the natural world. Many aspects of it were inspired by the Mayan Nahuales and their deep archetypal wisdom. It includes the iconic volcanoes and flowing fresh waters of Lake Atitlán.

To me, it represents connection, cocreation, wonder, & harmony - all things I was immersed in at this magical place 🌞

These are work-in-progress photos, as sadly I had to journey onward before it was completely finished… but this only means I’ll have to go back and put on the finishing touches sometime soon 🫶🍄

A huge thank you to @nwari.now.here for being a friend and mentor through it all, offering advice, feedback, spliffs and good laughs. I couldn’t have done it without you bro!

I hope this wall sparks inspiration, curiosity and wonder in all who stand before it 🙌 what does this piece bring up for you?? Let me know below! ⬇️

Some souls enter your life for a moment,
and somehow leave spores that stay with you forever. 🍄

At Fungi Academy I didn’t just meet people… I met Shroomans.
Beautiful weirdos connected through mycelium minds, jungle nights, deep conversations, laughter, healing, music, and the shared curiosity for life itself.

Different stories, different paths, yet somehow we all found each other in the same network.
Like mycelium beneath the forest floor — unseen, alive, connected, supporting one another in ways words can barely explain.
Grateful for every soul, every lesson, every reflection.

The spores we spread here will keep growing long after we leave this mountain. 🤍🍄

Getting trippy with UV torches, paints, and mushrooms 🪲🦋🌸🍄

This week, @kit.kat.fat found her UV torch and @johnnageick (mind-blown) pulled out her UV paints. Immediately this initiated a full body-painting photoshoot in the shroomery and later in the river, and by the end both were totally woozy from the clouds of mushroom spores, glowing fungi, and splashing around in the river 🤪✨

Many mushrooms, including various Reishi species, biofluoresce, reflecting incredible colours under UV light: neon greens, electric blues, glowing pinks, and yellows.

Fun fact: biofluorescence ≠ bioluminescence. Biofluorescent organisms reflect light shone onto them (like the moon 🌙), while bioluminescent organisms create their own light (like the sun ☀️).

Meanwhile at Fungi Academy… Kit accidentally left the UV torch here, so now everyone’s getting painted and trippy 😋
