What was cookin’ at the Brady house? Alice may rule the kitchen, but we had a few groovy tricks up our sleeve!

A little behind the scenes of our island inspired feast for the Brady Bunch Backyard Bash!

On the menu? Hawaiian salmon, Huli Huli chicken, coconut shrimp, Huli Huli tofu, pineapple fried rice, Hawaiian macaroni salad, fresh green salad, grilled veggies, fresh fruit and Alice’s famous upside down pineapple cakes! A groovy feast so good, one plate just wasn’t enough!

All served with a whole lot of aloha benefiting the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health 💜

I’m preparing to participate in the New York City Marathon on November 1st as a member of Team Ritter, raising funds and awareness for the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health @johnritterfoundation

After being diagnosed with an ascending aortic aneurysm, I’ve embraced the motto “Don’t Quit. Adapt!” It’s a philosophy that keeps me moving forward and one I hope will inspire others.

Now here’s the sweet part!

The Walton’s cast pictured in 1979 at the real life wedding of Jon Walmsley and Lisa Harrison. Later on Lisa played the character of Toni Hazelton on the Waltons and their characters got married on “The Waltons” as well.
The ceremony was held in Michael Learned‘s backyard, and Ralph Waite who worked as an ordained Presbyterian minister before becoming an actor officiated the ceremony.
