A couple of us from @johnsonequestriancenter had a little western fun over @cedarstables2015 last Friday where we did some barrels, poles and games. I rode Taxi which is one of if not my absolute favorite horse at this barn.

humbling show to say the least🙃

i truly have no words for how awful i rode yesterday. my anxiety got the best of me and i made it henry’s problem.

although i was embarrassed people saw me ride like that, i think im more upset that i gave henry a terrible experience. i was clearly very anxious and kept yanking on his face to the point where he said that fucking enough. i don’t blame him!

this sport is hard but it’s even harder when you want to do best by your horse and you can’t seem to get your shit together. luckily horses are forgiving and henry didn’t hold a grudge, but i have a lot of work to do mentally at shows!

back to the drawing board on how to get stronger both mentally and physically💪🏼

thankful for the best barn family who help me take a deep breathe, forgive myself and help me move on & learn🫶🏼i love the @bakerhill_stables family ✨

Rollbacks for days! A Little Bit Alexis “Lexi” was a superstar as always. Forever grateful for @skylar.at.jec coaching us every step of the way (including calling jumps when I inevitably forget the course mid-ride).

Rider position can still use some work but each competition gets a little better. Thanks @johnsonequestriancenter for putting on a great show!! Looking forward to the next one.
