🚨APPRECIATION POST🚨

I say it in class, in the tough times: “It dun’t matter what you were GIVEN in life; all that matters is what you’re willing to GIVE when the time comes and the occasion calls…”

Strength, speed, wealth, privilege... that’s arbitrary, Talent and starting-points are god-given; they don’t determine end points, they don’t define you, and you’d be damned if you tried taking credit for them.

What defines you is how you treat people, how hard you work for what you believe in, and how much you give to the people and the projects you care about.

Last night’s class was really special to me. I’ve never had this many @barryscanada family in my class and it moved me. These are the people who literally hold our community up on their shoulders and allow us to have the time of our lives in this incredible space.

From Taylor, who makes sure to source and stock the best ingredients, so that Fiorela and Ariana can make you the best shakes on the market…

From John and his team- Sal, Gabe, @thisisjoaquin, Amorcita, Romar (some not present so I’m mad at them😂), David, Robert, John, Roberto… this is the hardest working facilities crew in the country.🇨🇦

When some idiot like me gets too caught up in your workout and we go over time and leave the room a mess? Guess who steps up to do the job that should have taken 15 minutes in only 10…? And guess who delivers the cleanest space in the city no matter how much is asked of them in how little time?

When you see these people in the lobby, please stop and shake their hands. They are the reason that you walk into the most well maintained gym in Toronto every HOUR of every DAY of every week. (And based on the fact that we offer the most intense workout in the country and burn the most calories and lose the most sweat in an under an hour… you can only imagine how hard it is to also w provide the best facilities…)

Thanks for inspiring me last night and every night, team. 🙏🏼❤️
