I'm looking forward to being back in this place, where the magic seems so thick you can eat it by spoonfuls and watch it drip like honey. The PNW is a big beautiful reminder of how small I am in myself, and how big my God is. Even though I won't be there with these wonderful friends this time, I look forward to listening to the waves and the mountain air with my Lord by my side, and watching Him move in the shadows and sunshine of those western mountains.

If you’re in the #SanDiego area the week of September 7th and needing some photos, hit me up. On the 12th and 13th I’ll be in the #PNW, so if you’re there, I’d love to make something with you in the short time I have.

See you soon, West Coast.

Food gives people a way into the celebration.

A drink at the bar turns into a conversation. Dinner stretches longer because nobody wants to leave the table. Dessert gets passed around the dance floor between songs.

Every part of this tented reception that sat just below the Tentons invited people to gather, stay awhile, and share the experience together.

this past weekend was the bachelor party weekend for our dear brother rae

we did most of the things that we used to do regularly when most of us lived in vegas - camp at mt charleston, bonfire, stargazing, go off-roading, church on sunday morning, mothership coffee, cigars at the garage or backyard - each activity always full of long conversations that made us more in awe of God

so blessed to be able to do it all together for the last time at the place where we built such a rare brotherhood

praise God for our brother Rae finding a good thing - Kami

proverbs 18:22 he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord

Reflecting on God’s goodness to me, and these brothers are somewhere at the top of that list.

In this circle I have been edified, reproved and exhorted, all to the Lord’s glory.

Thank you, Lord
