2026 LBD is in the record books. Here are all the COI girlies we could gather at once at LBD. Thanks to all who showed up and raised money (and paddles) for this great cause! 👏

COI board VP, @simplekate showing us how it’s done!

@alifeldstein and @stephaniemhorton winning a trip to Tulum for a COI girls trip!

@i_blongtoschiff - Well said.

One of our amazing activation sponsors- House of Amao @houseofamaofragrance - created custom fragrances for guests.

Thanks to @flashpartyco for the photobooth and @jo.anfloraldesign for the florals.

Our fearless LBD leaders, Event Chair, @k_ohlmeyer and outgoing DFSA Executive Director, @miainaustin. 👏👏👏👏

It’s not easy narrowing down your signature scent. Luckily we had @houseofamaofragrance to help us.

The one that got away. Every table has a purse you can bid on for the silent auction. 👜

No notes 🗒️ . Stacey scored her one of one dress from @impactapparelatx!

@st_vincent crushing the entertainment.

Another activation that guests enjoyed were the permanent bracelets provided by @amandadeer.

The LBD planning committee, made up of over half COI members!

Be sure to join us next year for this amazing event!!

A little black dress and music for the soul. 🖤🎶

Dress for Success Austin’s Little Black Dress Soirée was such a lovely evening.

I got to catch up with my Circle of Impact sisters, meet some new people, and see familiar faces, including our past LLN Austin featured speaker, Krizel Rodriguez.

It was my first time hearing Jackie Venson…

She was KILLING that guitar!

I could have listened to her all night.

Hearing one woman share how Dress for Success Austin helped her find her footing, pursue her education, and build a new chapter brought me back to why I got involved.

Stories like hers remind me of the purpose behind the work and its impact. That’s why this evening meant so much to me.

Thank you, Mia Johns, a.k.a. Mi-yoncé, for making this organization what it is today. You are a gem! ✨

Ok, we tried to narrow the camera roll down to our 20 favorites and we failed. Enjoy part ✌️because one LBD album wasn’t enough! ✨

I’m Joia, the eye behind Preppy Vintage @preppyvintageatx ⛵️ A Connecticut girl in Austin, Texas with a soft spot for things made well and meant to last. I’ve spent years sharpening my eye, and I bring home only the pieces I truly can’t leave behind.

Austin’s preppiest vintage edit. Rooted in New England, inspired by the places, people, and things that make preppy style timeless — sailing, summer cottages, Ivy League campuses, club stripes, monograms, brass, and a good old-fashioned sweater thrown over the shoulders. The goal is simple: pieces that feel classic, collected, and like they’ve always belonged.

Preppy Vintage is my edit for your home and your closet. Follow along - new finds will be washing up every month, available via DM, with pop-up markets throughout Austin.

xx Joia

A few summer throwbacks…

This season has been filled with concerts 🎶, beaches 🏝️, dancing 💃, volleyball 🏐, dinners 🍴, new places 📍, new (and old) friends, questionable amounts of wine/margaritas 🍷, Picklebacks 🥒, new traditions, a lot of laughing, and some pretty incredible people.

More than anything, this summer I’ve felt so grateful for my people ❤️. Through it all they’ve listened, distracted, loved, laughed, danced, and dragged me back out there when I needed it.

And looking back through the camera roll, we’ve had a pretty damn good time along the way.

To the never-ending Texas summer and more good times ahead 🥂
