AUSGROOM SYDNEY 2026 ✂️🐾🏆

Still trying to wrap my head around it 🥹

After not placing at my first comp, I went into my second wanting to learn, improve and prove to myself I could do it. Safe to say… pretty bloody happy 😂

DAY 1 ✂️
🥈 Teddy Bear with Luna — 2nd
🥇 Dual Dual with Tori & Oscar — 1st + Best in Group 🏆 and into the Best in Show lineup

DAY 2 ✂️
🥈 Asian Fusion with Benji — 2nd

I wasn’t as prepared with Benji as I’d have liked and I’m my own biggest critic 😂 The judges spent 15 minutes deciding between 1st and 2nd and even brought in an international judge, which made it mean even more.

Proud of the results, but even more grateful for the people behind me.

Jo Marsden: for an amazing comp, finding Oscar and letting us prep him the night before.

Tori: for our win with Oscar, always pushing me to do better and believing in me when I doubt myself.

Debbie Hart: for supporting our comps and learning, helping me start this career and keeping us organised in the chaos 😂

Yulu: for keeping everyone smiling, even when you’re just as stressed as us.

Isabel: for travelling with us, supporting us and helping between grooms.

Oscar’s mum: for trusting us with your baby and bringing him back for Best in Show.

Kylee & Jason: my forever number-one fans. Thank you for always supporting me and cheering me on. ❤️

Mum & Dad: for believing in me when I left school early for grooming full-time and supporting me ever since.

Elysha: my teacher six years ago who believed I’d go somewhere, then somehow ended up being Luna’s mum 😂 Thank you for trusting me with her.

My partner Matt: even though you couldn’t come with us, thank you for always supporting me and letting me turn Benji into my grooming canvas 😂

This year has been incredibly tough and there were times I nearly decided a comp was too much. Without these people, I probably would have.

But I didn’t. I showed up.

Three classes. Three podium finishes. My first ever placings, Best in Group and a Best in Show lineup. I couldn’t have asked for much more.

Thank you to all the judges and sponsors who made this possible.

Second comp down. First placings secured. And definitely not the last comp. ❤️

This year I set a goal to enhance my business capabilities. To achieve this, I enrolled in a hand stripping course. I appreciate the excellent training provided by John Walsh from Pets Pregrotive. The knowledge acquired will be a significant asset to my business.
Note the contrast in speed between John and me, haha, yet recognize that progress often starts with modest beginnings :)

My Micky is 10 years old now and she is starting to do more and more of the grooming of her Coton de tulear called Luck Dragon. Luck dragon is her world and I love the part in this reel where you can see how much luck dragon is enjoying the process of Micky scissoring her.

The 26th of March 2024... a new date to keep in our hearts.
The last day of Mobile Grooming.

Our first day started with little fanfare, an add in the local Frankston Standard had Jo grooming her first dog on the 3rd of October 2008, the second dog was not till a couple of days later.

Fast forward to today and John grooms one dog.

There is symitry in that.

Thank you to everyone who ever used our mobile services. It is a chapter, which is now, closed

Onwards and upwards

Pippin and I at the last comp for 2023! 🥳
Not bad for only 2hr15min full hand scissor groom (aside from the ears and tail🙃)

We placed 2nd 🥈 and runner up in group in open level 🤗

Needs a little tweaking so in 2024 I’m coming back with even more determination!

I have some exciting new projects in the works that I’ll announce in January that I’m itching to share!
😜 You all thought I was busy this year! You just wait and see 😘

All my dogs are prepared in @progroom_pets you can’t get amazing results with just any old shampoo 💪
