Four years ago when I walked into my ag classroom, I never knew everything FFA would bring into my life. I never thought FFA would become my life!

This year took me from Ground Zero Conference to BUILD Conference, and Middle School Conference where I met so many strong leaders and members. I was also blessed to have spent a week with the best camp group (FORKY FLAMES FOR LIFE), whose energy, laughter, and excitement reminded me why this organization means so much.

I had the incredible honor of serving as the flag bearer at National Convention—a moment I'll never forget and one that filled me with so much pride to representour state on the National stage.

I have made so many friends throughout my years in FFA. Especially this year as section president where I met 30 amazing people who quickly became like family. Thank you all for being the best teammates!

Special thank you to my amazing mentor and friend, Riley who always encouraged me to keep my head up and keep striving to do amazing things. Also thank you to Pinckneyville FFA, Section 24 members, advisors, and my officer team, Mr. McAllister, Eric, my family and especially my brother, and Natalie!

FFA has given me opportunities, friendships, memories, and lessons that will stay with me forever. Thank you to everyone who believed in me, encouraged me, and was part of this journey. My blue jacket may not always be on my shoulders, but FFA will always have a place in my heart. 💙💛

So incredibly grateful to say that I found my people and my passion this year in FFA.

This year I participated in the land use cde, attended the greenhand conference, went on the national convention day trip, did the agronomy cde, went to the Ground Zero conference (and got to meet Thaddeus!), helped at the annual auction (I was kinda sick but I wanted the points), earned the SJO FFA SAE alumni grant for my SAE in photography, put out lots of door hangers for our food drive, helped with ag in the classroom at the annual barnyard, Got my Greenhand degree and chapter scholarship award at the chapter awards banquet, went to state convention, served in the courtesy corps at state convention, helped with our petting zoo at the Trooper Thompsen 5k, put an abundance of hours into my SAE, and attended many monthly chapter and committee meetings!

Once again I am so grateful for the opportunities I have had through this organization, and it has really deepened my love for agriculture. One of my favorite things about FFA is the people you meet at conventions and conferences. Out of all large group settings, FFA is the one I thrive the most in. I dread the day that I take off the blue jacket for the last time, but until then, I will continue to make the most of every opportunity through this organization. Until next year 💙💛.

Dear FFA,

Thank you for being so much more than an organization. Thank you for the opportunities, the memories, the lessons, and the people you brought into my life. Through every success, challenge, and experience, FFA has helped shape me into the person I am today, and for that I will always be grateful.

To Mr. Fesser and Mrs. Carlock, thank you for everything you have done for me as advisors. Your support, guidance, encouragement, and belief in me have made a lasting impact on my life. Thank you for pushing me to be my best and for always being there when I needed advice or support.

To @nataliejunepratt , @kobentate , @kyle_bradshaw_14 , @kaydancewootang , @ethan.bremmer , and @paigesierens , thank you for an incredible year serving as state officers. Watching each of you lead with passion, dedication, and purpose has been inspiring. Thank you for the laughs, memories, conversations, and experiences that made this year one I’ll never forget.

And finally, @levi72637282837372 We’ve been through our fair share of ups and downs, but through it all we’ve stuck together. Thank you for trusting me enough to ask me to be your runner. It was an honor to stand beside you and support you throughout this journey. I’m incredibly proud of everything you’ve accomplished and the leader you’ve become. No matter where life takes us, I’ll always be grateful for the memories and friendship we’ve shared.❤️
