just because it's hard doesn't mean it isn't worth the work.

Writing at least one sentence every day hasn't been easy but I'm still going strong! And I'm noticing a theme... Im worried about the future lol. But taking the time to quiet my mind has helped me realize I'm not as lost as I sometimes feel.

What is your journal revealing to you?

It's sometimes hard to ask for the things we want. But if you can't say it out, maybe you can write it out?

It's Day 2 of my September Write Every Day Challenge and the word of the day is HOPE. I'm making a list of everything I'm hopeful for in this life.

What are you hopeful for? Happy Wednesday and happy writing! 💫✏️

I started Finding The Right Words 3 years ago (!!!) to challenge myself to start writing again every day for 30 days straight. Since then, at least once a year, I’ll challenge myself (and all of you) to journal for a whole month non-stop.

And as I approach this year’s anniversary, I’m thinking… WHO HAS TIME FOR ALL THAT?! The answer is: not me!

But here’s the thing: I am worth my own time. I love to journal. And I need to make space for the things I love.

So I’m challenging myself again. I need to write. Every. Day. At least one sentence. At least one minute for myself and my thoughts daily. That’s the challenge this month and honestly every day going forward: to make time for me.

Are you up for the challenge?

A prompt for your journals: How do you define "SUCCESS?" 💫

Is it something you do? Something you have? Something that is given? Something you still believe is possible?

Been feeling a lot of anxiety about the future (and the present). When I'm doubting myself, it helps to reconnect with the One who knows me best 🙏🏾

Hope this devotional brings peace to your week ahead.

RANDOM SIDEQUEST EPISODE 5: Candle Making 🕯️✨
•
•
If there’s one thing about me, it’s that I love a good candle. So naturally, I decided it was time to learn how to make my own.
•
I spent the day creating a custom scent blend of linen, cotton, and amber, and honestly, this might be one of my favorite Side Quests yet.
•
The craziest part? The employee helping me, Jolie, (@jolie_bean ) and I ended up realizing we’re from the same hometown and attended the same high school around the same time. Such a small world and one of those moments that makes you feel like you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be and aligned.

10/10 experience. If you visit, ask for Jolie—she was amazing! 🤍

Would you try a candle-making class?
