Texas whitetail hunting is great but I’m missing Elk season and glassing the mountains.

First indoor shoot then had to build some new @victory_archery arrows and put on some new @summit_bowstrings strings for the Idaho Elk trip only 7 days away! Switched up the colors on the Victory arrows this go around. Now just getting dialed in and counting down the minutes for bugles, colder weather and days in the mountains 🏔️ 👀

Shooting @jon_bagby_ ‘s bow for the #victory37 challenge this week since both my bows are getting new strings 😅 can’t go more than a few days without shooting or the withdraws hit me.

This weekend was incredible! Words will fall short, but I’m thankful for a weekend filled with Men that Love the lord and are willing to serve. Some thought we were just going hunting this weekend…then Jesus showed up. Thankful for all the conversations, texts, phone calls and just being in a place where Men are willing to hear truth. Recap: Food, Fellowship, 7 bucks, lots of does, oryx, great messages, baptisms, testimonies and lives changed. I’m far from perfect, made a lot of mistakes over my 48 years, but I’m thankful for a Heavenly Father that’s never forsaken me.

I went through some struggles at the last shoot, but I’ve got everything back in tune now. Just adjusting my shot and putting in the reps to get back on track 👀
