20 years ago in 2006! Got to work with the incredible @jonathan.segal and place my art on his gorgeous Union Building in San Diego. We did 4 stainless sculptures on the west facade and one 18’x4’ steel sculpture on the north side. Thank you Jonathan for amazing opportunity and friendship. A fun and tricky installation with @prottertype . Still have my sketches hanging in my office.

I’m not a car designer def I’m not an illustrator but I love cars… Realism and I have a complicated relationship. I would also love an undo button but apparently the only option is to make a mess and keep going. A lesson that has applied to more than just drawing lately.

Some of these are rough. Some are getting somewhere. Be nice to them they’re new here.

I’d probably have finished twice as many if my demon creature didn’t believe drawing means ball time.

The recent Concours of Elegance was a wonderful event seeing friends from England and abroad, and many glorious cars in the avenues of The Great Fountain Garden at Hampton Court Palace.

Here are some of the wonderful Italian cars (and a fabulous Swiss one with an Italian body) entered into the concours:

The Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court concluded yesterday afternoon with the prize giving’s. A Bentley S2 Continental Coupe by H.J.Mulliner which we restored and supplied picked up second in class much to the delight of the owners and to one of the youngest members of our team who took part in the drive up to the stage to collect the prize.

Best in Show honours went (deservedly so) to a magnificent 1928 Mercedes-Benz SSK Roadster.

Here are a few photos from the final day and some of our favourites from the show field.

Had an amazing weekend at @concours_of_elegance and @salonpriveuk. Two amazing events at two amazing places. Would love to go again given the opportunity.

(Hampton Court is the better of the two imo)

And with that, the 2026 @concours_of_elegance at Hampton Court cones to a close, another fantastic year with breathtakingly beautiful coach built classics and ultimate forms of rare and exotic hypercars, coming from owners around the globe to partake in the gardens of the palace.
There were quite a few icon bucket list cars displayed this year which I had been waiting for, as well as some truly unique vehicles with fascinating stories.
Cheers for the next edition next year!
