This little film with a huge heart and a big old-fashioned nostalgic music score is doing very well! Just announced - a win at the prestigious @musicandsoundawards in the Feature Film Score category for @jonathanbrooksdirector 's @stargazersfilm. All my resources on this went into the production and performance of the music with some of my favourite humans playing on it, including daniel.ephgrave @birchall_alex Steph Reeve, Jamie Thomas @richiethelip Adrian Cleverley, James Widden @halstead.christian @rowebuffy @paul.buzzy.b @sarah.l.marinescu Rachel Robson, @fionaleggat, @ianburdge @dannyiskeane @alisonholford and @mariplayscello, mixed by James Collins. The film is coming out on a streamer near you in the new year, with the soundtrack album out in time for Christmas with @moviescoremedia. Happy days! @airedelmusic

A fantastic afternoon at @romfordfilmfestival screening Stargazers and taking part in a post-screening Q&A.

It was a pleasure to discuss the making of the film with the audience alongside writer/ director @jonathanbrooksdirector , Director of Photography @jon_moy and cast @henryrichardsactor , @lauren_cornelius and @neiljamesactor . We covered everything from production challenges and visual effects to character development and bringing the story to life on an independent budget.

Really proud to share that Stargazers has won Best Original Score in a Feature Film at the International Sound & Film Music Festival in Croatia 🎼🏆

Huge congratulations to our incredible composer @stuarthancockcomposer , whose score brought so much emotion, scale and identity to the film from the very beginning. A very well deserved recognition.

What makes this especially exciting is the strength of this year’s international nominees, with composers and productions from across the world recognised by the festival.

This year’s festival also included special guests @simonpegg and Ciaran Hinds, making the event an even more memorable one to be part of.

We’re very grateful to @isfmf_dreamaker for the award and support of the film and its music.

Massive respect to @jonathanbrooksdirector @unitedmagicstudios & everyone who contributed their skills to ‘Stargazers’. It was lovely to see three years of hard graft distilled into an excellent & intimate premiere in Chichester this evening. Excited to see its journey going forward & an absolute pleasure to sound design & mix the online trailer earlier last year, thanks for the shoutout in the credits 🤘
