A little recap of Kings and Queens: Poetry & Music Event hosted by Creative Love Network! 👑🎶

An evening of embracing Blackness through time and decades, celebrating the beauty of our culture, honoring those who came before us, and recognizing how our stories continue to transcend generations. From the words spoken to the music felt, every moment was a reminder that our art is our legacy, our voices carry history, and our existence is something to celebrate.

We are the ancestors’ wildest dreams, the keepers of stories, and the creators of what comes next. ✊🏾❤️💛💚

Black and blessed. Crowned by our ancestors. Connected through our art. Unapologetic in our brilliance. 👑✨

Thank you to Creative Love Network for creating spaces where Black artistry, poetry, and music can flourish. Always a blessing to show up, support my people, and witness the magic our community creates together! 🫶🏾

🎥 More moments from this beautiful evening coming soon!

Drop a 👑 in the comments if you’re proud to celebrate Black art, culture, and community!

👑 HONORING ROYALTY 👑
— QUEEN SOCKS & MRFOOD4THOUGHT

Creative Love Network is proud to honor Queen Socks & MrFood4Thought (Dr. Melanie Luja & Oshea Luja) as our 2026 King Poet & Queen Poet at Kings & Queens of Poetry on October 17.

Their impact reaches far beyond poetry. Through teaching, workshops, holistic wellness, spiritual leadership and community building, they have poured into countless poets throughout Los Angeles and far beyond—honoring the elders while always making room for new voices.

Together, they also represent something special: a beautiful example of a King and Queen walking side by side in love, purpose and positive energy. 👑❤️

They have been true friends of Creative Love Network, providing guidance, sharing ideas, collaborations and support—and now they join our Royalty Award legacy alongside Father Amde Hamilton, V. Kali, Paul Mabon and Judah 1.

The crowns fit. 👑 👑
