🇮🇹🎻 What an incredible few days at Cremona Musica 2026!

Our team had a fantastic time connecting with musicians and luthiers from all over the world. 🌍

From inspiring conversations about strings and finding your unique sound to hearing so many of you bring the instruments on our booth to life - it was an absolute pleasure! 🎶

We also had the opportunity to showcase our new Sovereign cello strings, and the response was truly fantastic! 🔥🎻

And what a joy it was to see our competition wall fill up with postcards from so many of you! 💌 Four lucky winners can now look forward to receiving their very own personalised set of Larsen strings! 🎁✨

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by. We’re already looking forward to returning to Cremona and Italy! 🇮🇹❤️

To mark today’s release of his debut solo album, Kaiku, via @bisrecordsofficial , we spent some time with Finnish cellist Jonathan Roozeman, part of the Talent Studio 2026 cohort, to talk about the story behind this deeply personal project.
Rather than a standard repertoire recording, Kaiku grew out of Finland’s close-knit and highly collaborative contemporary music scene.
In our conversation, Jonathan reflects on his return to the sounds of his homeland after years spent abroad, and on the themes of nature, memory, and artistic trust that run through the project.

Watch the full conversation here, and join us in celebrating the release of Kaiku today, August 21!
