Gillade idéen att blöta händerna (förutom floder av svett) för att simulera ”våta förhållanden” även de enkla hindren blev svåra & självförtroendet var inte på 🔝men efter 90 min & några psykbryt kände vi oss ändå nöjda.

Pass:
30 min hinderteknik
15 ”non-stop” av
Över/under
Väggar
Nät
Välta däck
Vägg
Balans
Boll över bar

15 min ”non-stop” av
5 långa greppiga hinder
Avslut, burpees

Tack & bock, ni får mig att kämpa lite extra 👊🏻

I teach my students to persevere, to accept hardships and to navigate a way through, so I’m proud that I can showcase this moment to them, at such a prestigious competition: the OCR European Championships! 🇪🇸 This second angel showcases my initial foot slip better 🦶 Immediately ~ I accept the slip, react, complete the penalty loop and SPRINT to catch up to @joneken89 🔥 In Portugal last year, I lost by 0.10. This year, I feel I had redemption, winning by just 0.25! My legs felt so heavy by the end! but I made the comeback - no doubt spurred on by Team GB jumping and screaming 🇬🇧(@wargraveviking and family - @hsearle739🫶🏻) WE’RE IN THIS TOGETHER! 🏆

Thank you for pushing me to my limits @joneken89 and for such a wicked race! 🇬🇧👊🏼🇸🇪 #ocr #ocreu #athletics #parkour

Slipping before I’ve ever started?! 😵‍💫 SHEESH. GOOD BANTER 💀🫠 I didn’t even get the first step in! Not how I wanted the knock out rounds to start, and having just finished the other race: 3km Short Course just a few hours before, where my forearms were chunkier than Popeye 🥬 I needed any advantage I could get…

Well… fate had a different idea, and I’d have to fight for it 🥊 A few clean obstacles and with a speedy penguin slide, I was back in front 🐧 but @joneken89 was faster up the warped wall. Too close to tell, I couldn’t tell who won. Looking at the screen, I had won by 0.25! OOSH! Love to put on a show for y’all. They call me The Showman for a reason 😂 Onwards to the next round: Top 8! #TeamGB 🇬🇧 #ocr #ocreu #parkour

Mission OCR European Championships 2026 – 100m and 3K Team: Completed.

In the M40–59 age category, I was competing against athletes as young as 40 and managed to make it to the Round of 16. In that race, I didn't have much to challenge this year's eventual silver medalist with—except perhaps the world's biggest belly flop 🤣 when I failed to get a proper take-off on the rings, last video.

Still, I finished in 16th place overall, which I'm happy with.

After that, together with #quanocr, I had the privilege of helping #theblindviking in the Adaptive Visually Impaired category secure a gold medal in the 3K Team event.

Thank you to all the 100m competitors for continuing to push the limits of our sport together 💪🏻. Thanks to #ocrec2026 for a great event in Irun, thanks to all my teammates from #sportsclub_ocr, thanks to OCR coach #jonathanptstiig, and thanks to my family, friends, and everyone who supports me on the journey toward even more success ❤️.

Remember me tell you you’re blessed, you’re alive
You only get one life
So don’t waste it
Don’t be basic
If you have a dream, ya better chase it
If something wrong, replace it
In life you learn when you find out you’re always strong enough to face it
