Hey sis, here’s a clip from Rooted’s most recent session, where we talked about God as our Father and applied Revelation 3:20. We broke down how, as our Father, He shows up every day, knocking on the doors of our hearts—hoping, waiting, and in our free will, we make a decision to choose Him-to prioritize Him, to sit with Him, and allow Him to dwell with us, to give us everything that we need in whatever moment we choose to let Him in. This is what we do- we are everyday women. And this is what Rooted is about-just everyday women, no pretense, no perfection, no perfect aesthetic-just women who desire to know God in a way that is real, that calls us to more. This is a fun, laid-back environment-so wear your bonnet, bring your coffee-if the kids are running around in the background, feel free to still come, even if you stay on mute, stay off camera- just be here sis. There’s always room at the table. So if this sounds like something you’re interested in, or someone you know, please go ahead and hit the follow button and click the link in the bio- there you can join the Facebook group(where we are most active) and you can fill out the ‘I Want to Stay Rooted’ form so we can stay in touch. Our next gathering is May 2nd at 11 a.m. EDT, and we’ll continue our foundation series, talking about how Jesus’ life is the example for us all.

This week has been incredibly emotional for me! Constantly worrying if I’m moving forward in life… second guessing myself and my own value. But today when I woke up, I felt rejuvenated and grateful! Yes, there are going to always be roadblocks but I am soooo thankful for each and everyone of my sisters that surround me with constant love and support without judgement! And although I don’t speak to each of them daily… our connections are something I value and thank God for! Thank you so much for being the beautiful beings you are!! I love you deep❤️ #mysisters #mycircle #blesssed #wce

My brother & I drove mom dukes down i75 to meet up with lil sis & have lunch at a park, while observing social distancing, out the back of the SUVs. 💪🏾 Mom loved it & her gifts!! (We had a good time running from the security & police.) 🙄😂🤣 #LOVEYOUMOM #HappyMothersDay

Woooowww!! So MANY things to be thankful for... God has been better to me than I will EVER deserve! #thankful 1) Today... yes 11/22 is my wedding anniversary! 3 years ago we made a commitment to love one another no matter what. We always busting each other’s chops but baby you know I love you... you’re one of the smartest, ambitious people I have ever met. Thank you for pushing me to reality true potential! I Love You Luckie😘 2) My children!! What a joy it is to be your mother. I do t think I’ve ever had a better purpose than this. Thank you God for entrusting them with me. Hunter and Harlem you are a gift from God! 3) A gift reborn! It was a time in life that I loved to bake. To create! But somewhere along the lines of going to my 9-5 everyday that dream began to fade... I am so thankful for the time I got off for maternity leave to reinvest in that dream to find what really makes Nova happy... yes I made that!! And I’m ready to start my online bakery... so look out because it’s coming soon😆 4) I have some bomb ass friends!! No they are not all in this pic but this pic does show a good amount of them! Praise God for those who can hold you accountable! GG, Joniece, Kim... I love y’all too😘 5) Oh and THIS happened!!! I let her post and wanted to wait until she had her moment!! But y’all my bestie is getting married... she is going to make such a beautiful bride... But most important she is going to have a beautiful marriage! I have never been so happy for someone. I can’t wait to share this journey with you Ashley!! May God bless you and Martele’s upcoming union😍 Sorry yall!! God has been so good... I’d be remiss not to say so!
