BIG appreciation to the hearts that were able to join us for our Fall Homeless Brown Bag and Care initiative 💜

Each quarter, volunteers assemble brown bag lunches and care packages filled with toiletries, to meet survivors where they're at with DV resources 💜

Thank you to the Massasoit Future of Work Institute and the L Street Mission for their partnership, which helps us serve the commUNITY 💜

As summer nears its end, DV awareness planning and being in commUNITY continue to heat up for our hearts and hands team 💜

Our Annual Strategic Planning Board Meeting got us together to hash out the next year of exciting passion work and we were so elated to have team members, who have amazing babies… one year old and under get together, once again, so our founder could have all the feels of being in space with them! LOL! 😂

We dislike having to see you go soon summer, but boy oh boy… we have enjoyed you so far!☀️💜☀️

Thank you commUNITY for attending the Nobody Knows Short Film Premiere🎬this past weekend, written and produced by filmmaker, @DanielLaurentsMe, directed by @adaptive.pictures and featured sur-THRIVER, @CoachCarmenB 💜

The interactive Q&A engagement, post premiere, centered around meaningful conversations, and supported LLN's mission to empower survivors, raise DV awareness, and helps us continue providing resources to those impacted by abuse 💜

Summer is officially here and so are we. 🧡☀️

From community events to behind-the-scenes planning sessions and more, our LLN hearts and hands board members show up all year long 💜

These are some of the faces behind our DV awareness mission... the people who give their time, their talent, and their voices to ensure survivors of DV are never alone 💜

As we head into summer, our commitment to this work only grows stronger, so to our LLN Team: thank you... the survivors we serve are lucky to have you in their corner and so are we 💜

Tag a board member who inspires you! ⬇️

Each quarter, LLN volunteers for our Brown Bag & Care event assemble brown bag lunches and hygiene care packages filled with toiletries to meet sur-THRIVERS where they're at with DV resources 💜 Excited that @bankbluestone employees join us this quarter 🙌🏾

This gives LLN an opportunity to go directly into the community once a quarter and speak directly to sur-THRIVERS who may have been displaced due to DV, speak with anyone who may currently be experiencing DV, and also speak to men about how they can be UP-standers!

If you are interested in volunteering at our next quarterly Brown Bag & Care event or any LLN events, please email our Volunteer Program Coordinator at volunteer@lovelifenow.org 💜

Thank you to @AllHeartsUnited25 founder, Corey Langley, for partnering with LLN for their Lobster Steak Clambake Fundraiser this past weekend 💜

The event partially benefitted our year round DV awareness efforts and also shined a light around the intersection of addiction and abuse. Appreciation to all the event sponsors, raffle donors and all who showed up, despite New England's topsy turvy weather🌧

This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the women who shaped us, strengthened us, and continue to inspire the work we do every single day. And also celebrating the women we have become today. 💜

Huge THANK YOU to the @FlagFlagBoston football league team members from the LGBTQIA+ community, for joining us last week to create a formalized inventory system for our quarterly Homeless Brown Bag and Care initiative 💜

Members sat in for a mini DV awareness presentation to understand how the issue affects all communities and the impact of their volunteerism, then got right to work... sorting, packing and labeling items to make us better equipped to serve others 💜

This work doesn't happen without hearts and hands volunteers and we are grateful 💜

April capped off with assembly and distribution for the Project Cozy Pajama Drive, where @LibertyMutual employees joined us to sort and pack almost 400 PJ's collected from many hearts across the state 💜

The Drive benefited three DV agencies that house women and children DV survivors and they were grateful for them 🙏🏽

Thank you to each and every drop-off location, our Volunteer Program Coordinator for manning the initiative, each heart that donated pajamas, the heart that knitted blankets and the Liberty Torchbearer staff that joined us to culminate them all 💜

DV is everywhere but help is everywhere, so reach out to us if you are seeking resources 💜

And again, thank you to those who dropped off pajamas at any of our drop off locations. To each of the businesses and community centers, we couldn't have done this without you:
