Had alta loma peak on the list for some time, and two of the people I talked about doing it with I was able to do it with. That was pretty rad, like my jokes nobody laughed at.
As @firm_steppin says, this one will test you mentally and physically, especially going up the canyon route which did just that. Luckily I had jokes to take the mind off the pain, which weren't appreciated.
Grateful for such a positive group, although none of them have a sense of humor as not one joke got a laugh.
Surround yourself with those that will pull you up, not pull you down...although after 4 or so jokes and not one laugh I felt pretty down.

Good couple days. From scaring people on the mountain to back to back dodger wins to win the world series. My daughter even hung out with me on her birthday even though it almost killed me to stay up past 11. Good times with good people

Somedays im reminded why I chose to stay single. The whole hike i was snapping pics for her to have for memories. I was told to set up my tripod and get my own pics while she sat around drinking the booze I carried up with a sore back. I didn't even get a pic on my favorite rock with the city lights because she showed up late. Then to show her appreciation she forced me to take the worst shot possibly known to man.
Its tough out there for us real gentleman

Fun hike with this one.
Unfortunately not a big drinker. Doesn't make eye contact when doing cheers. Makes fart noises when waiting for thunder. Hates being touched. Arrives on time.
Looks like a graceful ballerina when relieving self in water. Amazing photographer.

Soaking in all the good vibes from our recent trip. Not only did I get to explore some stunning trails, but also made some amazing new friends @jordanxxe & @badasshikingbabe all along celebrating my boy @hikerslife_alfonso birthday. Moments like these are truly what it's all about. Cheers to new connections and shared adventures.

This was one of those days you just want to hold on to and savor for a long time. The weather, the company, the trail itself all provided for a perfect day. The universe was definitely on our side that day because we left just as the clouds started to turn dark and rain drops started emerging. My car ran out of gas half way down highway 2 and miraculously it made it to the gas station without us having to push it down the mountain. And now it’s Monday, and as I write this caption, responsibilities and problems are starting to flood back in, but looking at these photos brings me back to the peace, tranquility and lots of laughter that we shared on this adventure.
