Program | Aranya Winter Residency 2025–2026 ⛰️ Phase II — Guided Tour Pierre-Alexandre Savriacouty O Group (José Cárdenas & Yihan Pan) Ananda Firman Syarif Wang Xiya At the threshold between deep winter and early spring, artists from China and around the world entered the mountainous landscape of Jin Shan Ling. 🍂❄️🌿 🌸 Working amid cold temperatures, wind, snow, and the gradual return of warmth, they developed their practices in close relation to the rhythms of the natural environment, leaving behind distinct traces of their residency. Approaching the terrain through diverse media and perspectives, the works respond to vegetation, climate, topography, and time, while also carrying the artists’ embodied experiences and perceptions. In an ongoing dialogue with the environment, these works do not assert themselves prominently; rather, they become presences that are slowly perceived within the rhythms of mountain life. 📒 All Artists Antonio López b. 1993, Quito, Ecuador; lives and works in Frankfurt, Germany Ananda Firman Syarif b. 1999, Pekanbaru, Indonesia; lives and works in Jakarta, Indonesia Supported by MTN Seni Budaya @mtnsenibudaya Li Gang b. 1986, Yunnan, China; lives and works in Beijing, China O Group (José Cárdenas & Yihan Pan) José Cárdenas — b. 1999, Chile; lives and works in London Yihan Pan — b. 2002, Beijing, China; lives and works in London Pierre-Alexandre Savriacouty b. 1993; French artist of Malagasy origin Supported by the French Embassy in China (“YI TONG” Program) @franceenchine Wang Xiya b. 1999, Guiyang, China; lives and works in Shanghai, China Shinetana b. 1983, Xilingol League, Inner Mongolia, China; lives and works in Hohhot, China yy?
