My heart is absolutely overflowing after visiting my home away from home, PureGym Cardiff Gate, this week 💛 The three charity classes were nothing short of phenomenal. A massive thank you to PureGym and the incredible Sion, Laura, Lucy, Josh, Lauren, and Becky, for generously hosting. To every single member who smashed the classes and donated to Velindre Cancer Centre Fundraising, you are truly incredible. The generosity from the managers, PTs, and members has been remarkable. It’s been a minute since I picked up some gloves… Session 1 with @joshlindnertraining - relearning the basics! Boxing has always been a sport that I’ve loved- it all started with the passion that my father had for it, of which he shared with me growing up. WHATEVER IT TAKES 🦾 Recently I entered the @canva Small Business Pitch Challenge ‘26 as I felt that could hopefully help push the Always Forward message further and build more momentum for the movement were we able to secure the funding and support from Canva. We have now been recognised as one of Canva’s Top 100 Small Businesses, and shortlisted for the next stage! If we are lucky enough to be part of the top 5 that could truly help our purpose led clothing brand to reach the next level and launch our coffee and chat/talk and train support groups, community events, mental health campaigns, and partnerships, all as part of the forward movement plan. Our long term aspiration remains a permanent home where people can train, talk, connect, create, and belong. Regards of what happens next we are proud to be one of Canva’s Top 100 Small Businesses, and we’ll get there eventually, whatever it takes! May brought us that beautiful, cloudy-covered mountain weather that wakes up the valleys. We spent May riding through hills painted with blue-violet forget-me-nots, bright buttercups, & the first yellow dogroses of the season. Our riders initially joined us just for a single day. Yet the mountains & Gulsary have a way of calling you back. One day swiftly turned into three. We explored a few valleys, watching confidence & mountain riding skills bloom alongside fields of wild red poppies 📸 The best part of exploring this beautiful corner of the Kyrgyz Republic? Josh not only got in great shape but educated himself on the process of getting shoot ready!📸 Firstly Josh is an established personal trainer himself with a great amount of knowledge and large client base! Josh not only signed up with me to get in shape but wanted to further his knowledge on prepping someone for an event such as a photoshoot! I have massive admiration for anyone that’s willing to pay a coach to educate them on their craft! We not only nailed the shoot on the day but I made sure to comprehensively explain the process of the setup and why we were making certain decisions!
