Your True Reflection

During my freshman year in college, I was able to meet a variety of incredible people with all sorts of personalities, beliefs and goals. That moment when you first meet someone, what you first see visually creates opinions and sometimes judgements of that person. You only see what’s on the outside. However, once you get to know them and learn what they actually do, not by the stereotypical assumptions by their looks, they are amazing people!!! I chose 7 friends that I made this year or got closer with and wanted to show their true self. The color photos on the left show what they actually do and enjoy. Then reflecting on the right, the black & white photos show what people assume or the stereotypical actions people think about when you first meet someone. Always give people a chance and even if they do the stereotypical actions, that’s okay! They are doing something they love and enjoy. Accept it!!! Own it!!! Be your true self!!!
