We went on a camping trip during the summer and stayed at Loch Achray, part of the three lochs forest drive.

It is an amazing campsite with basic but sufficient amenities and you get to wake up to views like this. Granted this was 5am and we did go back to sleep again but we will definitely be planning another trip back there next summer. @lomondtrossachs

What an amazing time this past weekend at @modernquiltclub retreat @gomersal_park_hotel
Huge Thank you to @lisasew @madewithmadness for planning and organising such a brilliant retreat… I had the best time! So so fantastic to be with the best Quilty friends!!!

Enjoyed my early morning swim in the pool… although I think I’d have to swim for the whole week to make up for all the delicious meals and coffee and tea breaks!

Fantastic #retreatbag x 2 filled with goodies from the sponsors… tagged where possible

Loved my #pinnie made by @justsewsue that I got in the #pincushions swap and very kindhearted gifts and fabric from lovely friends @gillcrafty @dorothyahill @jsmithhantex @honeyheads_beehive

Final photo is a few of the fabrics I treated myself to for some future projects from lovely @oliveandflohandcraft and @helen_steele_029 #helensteelefabric #sarahwattsfabric #purlfabric

And last but in no means least is a big thank you to the amazing Michael who serviced my @janomeuk #janome8900qcp and my 40 year old @berninauk #bernina930record

👋 TIME TO SAY GOODBYE 👋 It’s time to say goodbye to my living room workspace corner as I start to pack up ready to move house in two days 🏡 😬 .

I’ve loved this corner, but can’t wait to soon have my very own studio. It’ll take a couple months to get it just right but, when I do, I’ll be living out one of my business dreams. I’m hoping that having a separate work and living space should help to give me a better work/life balance (‘cos, boy, I need that BIG TIME! 😆)

Here I am, packing away my “wall of motivation”. Fear not, you will all be coming with me @camillesland @unruly_print @poppekins @lizharrydesign @thefreckledpenguin @ludicrousprints @holly.co @porchpress @happy.stuff.studio @katsteardesigns @shirleyrainbow_tb @bear_and_willow @josturt and @pedddleuk! 🤩

UPDTE 2: your advice of a rest, pamper and oil worked: she works and I’m back in action!!!!UPDATE: thank you all for handholding- plan is clean, of to shop for oil - will give her a good rest - was rather full on with my quilting this morning 🤞Help! My dear Juki has just stopped mid quilting! Light still works, not hot to touch - but threadcutter - stitching all stopped - letting her sit quiet at the moment and let her have a rest - any ideas juki owners or am I doomed - #ilovemysewingmachine #sewingmachinestickers #jukisewingmachine PS: @pinkcoatclub - many of my stickers on my machine are from this fab shop who are sadly closing down and have a sale currently on!

Today on my instagram live I illustrated this little cutie.
The prompt for this one was milkshake!

Joanne and I have always loved @thewoodhousekippen. Their food is amazing , the coffee is brilliant and it looks great but now we can add really good light for portraits to the list of pros!

We took Lucy pony trekking with her cousins this week. She was nervous for all of 2 minutes and now she wants lessons. @castlerednocktrekkingcentre were brilliant and the route we walked was beautiful. Highly recommended.

Bertha has had some fab new stickers since I last posted on here 💜💜💜

I just need a cute greyhound sticker now (black or brindle...or both!), but can't find one the right size! If anyone knows of any sellers with greyhound stickers tag them below ⬇️
