Powerful extemporaneous speaking by @repsarajacobs

No script. No phone. A message for our moment. The time has come to live the ballot.

Beyond our singular vote, we vote with our purchases, with our clothing choices, with our lifestyles, habits, our support and solidarity for others of like mind. We vote when we show up to Council Chambers, or to any Dais demanding better.

Keep pushing. Solidarity ♾️.

& Thank you @sarajacobsca for joining us today at 🚫👑

Whatever your perception of affordable housing, accountability for how we spend public dollars starts HERE.

Warehouse at Creekside received approximately $6 million in public funding.

This is about more than one building. It’s about public money, private interests, and who is held accountable when promises aren’t kept.

If we don’t pay attention, government will serve itself lobster on the public’s dime. And when the bill finally comes due, the staff and elected representatives who approved the spending will be long gone.

Public money demands public accountability. Not years later. NOW.

Election season is here! In incredible grateful and proud to have the support and endorsement from this group. If you want to know who a person is and where their values lie, look at who they surround themselves with.

I don’t love the spotlight. I don’t particularly enjoy the pressure to perform.

I care about the work.

After eight years of showing up and advocating for working people in this city, I realized something: if we want government to represent different people, different people have to start showing up.

Look around your own city.

Where do the people serving your food, stocking your groceries, caring for your kids and keeping your community running actually live?

If the people who keep your city running can’t afford to live in it, that should tell you something.

Change starts HERE.

We took another BIG step in ending street homelessness today!

Senator Catherine Blakespear presented our city with a $3 Million investment into cabin or tiny-home styled interim housing right here in Oceanside! The homes will be a middle space for folks who are off the street and stabilized, but don’t yet have a more permanent home to land in yet. It fills a deep crack in our current housing system and we couldn’t be more proud to step forward along side the Senator.

This collaboration with Dignity Moves and Interfaith Community Services will save lives. What an exciting day for our city and our broader community. We look forward to showing everyone the progress as this vision is brought to life.

SAN DIEGO NORTH COUNTY! It's time for us to rock the vote! Ballots get sent out TODAY! After talking with community leaders and researching the issues that impact the future of our beautiful home, these are the leaders I endorse for to help us forge a brighter future. I'm always happy to discuss the reasons to which I endorsed one candidate over the other, the more discussions we have about our civics the better informed and connected we all will be.

It’s officially ballot season! 🗳️

One of the reasons I started Stephanie’s List was to help elevate strong local candidates — especially in the races that don’t always get as much attention.

I’ve put together my 2026 voter guide with candidates who have earned my support across North County. Swipe to find your city, save the post for when you sit down with your ballot, and don’t forget to vote all the way down the ballot.

Carlsbad • Encinitas • Oceanside • Del Mar • Vista • Solana Beach

I’ll be sharing more Stephanie’s List picks throughout the week, so keep an eye out for additional races and recommendations.

Election Day is November 3. 💙
