New work:
Roundabout 26-7
37x30
This is my last piece before a month long visit to France. We’ll be meeting up with a number of European friends, both older residents and newly settled. Art foundations, architecture, street life and the always unexpected will keep us more than busy, while soaking up a slower pace of life.

These are my pieces in “Measured Forms”, an exhibit at Nüart Gallery in Santa Monica.
Slide #3 is Joyce and me with the owner, Juan Kelly. Slide #4, a very engrossed visitor.
The gallery space is beautiful and the show was installed impeccably.

While in Santa Monica for my exhibit at Nüart Gallery, we spent a day at the new David Geffen galleries, LACMA. The architecture was amazing and the installations were innovative and very untraditionally arranged. Highly recommended!

HAPPINESS IS: When two of your favorite “ARTIST” cousins come to town, and you sit poolside in Santa Monica having brunch and berries 🍓and you talk and chat and catch up for hours…

✨Since I’m from the east coast, most of my family resides there. So for me to sit by the beach in LA and be filled up with family moments, my gratitude is explosive.

@joycepolish is the cousin that introduced me to California over 40 years ago. She’s more than a cousin…she’s a sister, confidante, cheerleader and one of my very best friends.

✨She is a woman of power, peace, positivity, purpose and the purest intentions.

✨She is the woman that cheers for EVERYONE’s success — and she’s there to catch you too if you may fall. She’s also an incredible art consultant! I feel blessed to have her in my life.

✨She is TRULY “the-behind-scenes” soul that has been there for every single important, exciting, and hard moment in my adult life!

✨Everyone deserves a @joycepolish by their side.

@howardhersh is her husband of over 25 years! They found love in midlife after both going through divorce.

✨Howard is an amazing artist who creates in San Francisco where they live. His work was being featured in Santa Monica this weekend.

✨Congratulations to @howardhersh (and the other artists) for the opening @nuartgallery

✨What a joy to experience LA with people you love.

💗I hope you are enjoying a great weekend too!

Love.🥰😘⭐️✨💫

We were in Philadelphia to witness Joyce’s daughter’s wedding at the beautiful Abington Art Center.
Meanwhile, I strengthened and added to my artist network with visits with Krista Svalbonas, Steven Baris, Tim McFarlane, and Rebecca Rustein.
Pictured is Rebecca’s work at Brigette Mayer Gallery.
