A few highlights from @designmiami Paris Edition

Design Miami Paris 2026 returned for its fourth edition from 20–25 October at the historic Hôtel de Maisons, bringing together more than 20 international galleries specialising in collectible design, from important 20th-century masters to contemporary designers.

Highlights included Jean Prouvé’s demountable house presented by Galerie Patrick Seguin, iconic modernist furniture by Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret, and contemporary collectible works exploring materials and craftsmanship.

Salon 94 Design won Best Gallery Presentation, while Pierre Renart received Best Design at Large for his monumental sculptural wooden bench. The fair offered a compelling intersection of design, art and craftsmanship during Paris’s major art week.

A little glimpse into an art-filled week in Paris- incredibly fulfilling, full of energy, and enriched by inspiring conversations, exciting discoveries, and the city’s vibrant cultural scene. 🤍

At the same time, it was deeply saddening to witness the destruction left behind in this beautiful city, where some criminals exploited the school protests to disrupt the city.

Paris this week: turbulence ✔️ Art Basel closing early ✔️ Still one of the best weeks of the year ✔️ The fair was shorter, the dinners were longer, and nobody complained. Thank you to all the wonderful people and the shows that made it unforgettable. Next year Paris we'd like the full week please 🤍 Stay safe everyone 🙏🏻 🇫🇷 @artbasel #paris #artlovers

A video of me talking about who I am and a little bit about my work and my struggles as an artist. A bit long but I’m happy to share a little about myself and my goals as a artist. Would love to hear your story

What makes Joseph Yaeger particularly interesting right now is the tension between cinematic imagery and materiality. He often works from obscure film stills or cropped digital images, translating them into textured watercolor-and-gesso paintings that feel psychologically charged and slightly unstable.
