Creatively directing, shooting, and editing our anniversary photos these last few years has been so special for me. Last year when we made this place a home I knew this was the direction I wanted to go with.

In the past 5 years I have had the highest highs and lowest lows of my life and through it all you’ve been by my side, and there’s no one else I’d be able to do life with.

Happy 5 years love.

Happy 3 years to us! It started with a Charlie’s date and spending the summer together. Then we did long distance at school but you drove hundreds of miles to come see me and I took some early train rides to visit you. That showed how dedicated we are and how much we care for each other. Now we both graduated and are working amazing jobs and we are always together now! I wouldn’t want to do these 3 years with anyone else. We got many years to go. I love you! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Sat with @canvasrebel to share some of @cedcareco ‘s story 🤍 so grateful to have been recommended for this. It’s beautiful to see how something I started as a mental health practice has turned into a beautiful way to express myself artistically and encourage confidence in others. 💗

Also a reminder to give yourself your flowers every step of the way 💐 go me 🫂

Big up God forever ♾️ 🕯️

If I had three words to describe living with type 1 diabetes I’d say full time job. Because it is. I’ve lived with this chronic disease for over 15 years yet somehow it wasn’t until my mom pointed out how I graduated from nursing school in 4 years, an accomplishment hard enough without a chronic illness, all while managing my diabetes with such grace last year that I realized she’s right.
It’s national diabetes awareness month, and last minute I wanted to create behind the lens to bring awareness to this demanding disease. I asked two good friends who also live with this condition to come up with some feelings they think of when they think of diabetes and they said mindful, stigmatized, warrior, and survivor. Couldn’t think of better words myself. Thank you to @kaitlynhirst_ and @chaya.leenda for being vulnerable and letting me photograph them highlighting aspects of ourselves we’ve all hid in the past, and @ceaseless_creation for helping me bring this vision to life through her artistry. More to come
