Best boy in the world remains completely unphased by anything at his first away show 💙 So incredibly lucky to own and love this angel boy. Top 5 in every class except the second round of the medal… if only his rider didn’t almost go off course 🫠

Thank you a million times to everyone involved on team Kai and ofc to the most perfect Kai, who never ceases to impress me. 🫶🦕

Angel Vasquez at @keenelandsales. Infectious energy. A former race jockey; polo player; the horse business itself.

The Vasquez family - salt of the earth.

I have known his father Patricio, a good friend, for the past five decades. Horses are a way of life for the Vasquez boys.

Patricio’s sons: Jorge of @gainesway, a terrific polo instructor and player; Juan, a trusty blacksmith; and Cristian, a @uspoloassociation umpire.

“No hoof, no horse” is an old saying in the horse world and also a golden rule of thumb. Healthy feet and a good farrier are crucial for your horse’s health and performance. The frog’s of a horses foot serve as a shock absorber and it’s very important to keep clean to prevent thrush and lameness from developing. If you’re on Long Island and need a great farrier, I highly recommend @jpoloshoe with his knowledge, expertise, and love for the animal

FUN FACT: a horse’s outer hoof is actually made of keratin, just like our fingernails. So, yes. Horses do get mani / pedi’s
