Super happy that 'Blossoming Joy' is now on show at @bobcatgallery in Putney.

Sadly the 'Luminous' exhibition had to close early, but I'm delighted that my painting can continue its time in London at @bobcatgallery - where I've exhibited before.

Catherine Sweet who runs the gallery has a wealth of affordable original and handmade limited edition artworks on show and lots of events throughout the year. Go check it out.

BobCat Gallery
Upstairs at Putney Exchange, Shopping Centre, Putney High Street, SW15 1TW.
Tuesday - Saturday, 10.30am - 6.30pm.
Monday by appointment (email gallery). Sunday closed.

We're open from 10-6pm.

Today I'm channelling Autumn witchy vibes with a dress from @sugarhillbrighton in front of my side wall, where you'll find some my pieces from previous years: 'Meditations', 'Feathers' and 'Layers'.

Looks like my 'Showgirl' and 'Carnival' paintings (see other pics for close ups) had a fabulous time at @weareinkyfingers in #hackneywick for the private view of the #artcanorg 'Fiesta' exhibition last night.

Unfortunately I wasn't there but as you'll see from the pics it was a buzzy evening and a fantastic exhibition expertly curated by @lizwhitemansmith
@sjhamiltonart @emmanuelle_orr @debbietearleart supported by others behind the scenes.

Thanks to @realhackneydave @rbyrneart for the great gallery space, which is super easy to get to, right next to Hackney Wick station.

Check my last Reel for more on both my works in the exhibition.

The show is on until 14th July so make sure you get down there to see over 140 works by an amazing collection of ArtCan artists. Most works are available to buy so you can go have a celebration amongst some beautiful celebratory art - and take a little bit of the fiesta spirit home with you!

Thanks to the curators for sharing their photos and vids also @angeladierkspaintings @shvetamaini_art

⭐ O is for Georgia O'Keeffe ⭐
A-Z GREAT WOMEN ARTISTS

I recently recorded an episode on the art of Georgia O’Keeffe with @jroattsart which really made me look and think again about the work of this incredible artist.

The episode will be released sometime in June - and I really cannot wait for everyone to hear it.
It was one of those chats where, when I stopped recording, I was still so excited about it for hours after.

O'Keeffe is someone special within art history for so many reasons...and someone I really undervalued until reading and learning more about her.

Her retrospective at Tate also helped.

UNTIL the episode drops - here is a taste of what is to come in the images above! ;) can't be giving all my best info away before the podcast is realised now can I?!

⭐

🎙 Why not check out the other episodes I have released on Jo’s Art History Podcast while you wait for O'Keeffe's episode?
