I finally found something taller than me!!

We had a great time on Friday feeding the giraffes at the Cincinnati Zoo. What a fun way to spend the afternoon! Tessa, the 15 foot tall 19 year old who is pregnant for the fifth time, was a big eater and enjoyed every bit of honeysuckle we had to give her.

Preservation Matters has landed! Our annual publication hit mailboxes last week, and this year’s issue is all about preservation in progress. Get a first look at the Preservation Center at Hopemont as it takes shape room by room, catch up on Pope Villa’s next big steps toward rehabilitation, and read about our work standing up for one of Lexington’s most historic neighborhoods alongside Aylesford Action.

You’ll also find a packed year of deTours, lectures, and workshops (plus a fifth grade class that made a seriously convincing case for preservation), this year’s Preservation Award honorees, and two new faces on the Blue Grass Trust team. Didn’t get a copy? Download the full issue via the link in our bio, or send us a DM and we’ll get a physical copy in your hands!

It was great to spend the morning at Coldstream Park cheering on everyone taking part in the Pride Run 5K and supporting Frontrunners Lexington's work in our community.

A relaxing weekend in the Gorge, followed by finishing the chicken coop, and finally a dinner at my favorite place with my favorite person. 💕💕

Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes! I had such a great birthday weekend with Jason, friends, old and new, (not all pictured here), and the @whistlefamilyfarm. Great food was eaten, fun times celebrating our queen @dollyparton, card games, and more.

36, here I come.
