Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812☄️💫 (or should I say 1990??)

I loved this show so much 🥲🥲 thank @philcolgan for allowing me bring this version of Marya to life. Thank you @ortizange for teaching us this insane show with so much care and patience. This cast and crew is genuine gold and I’m so grateful ❤️ I LOVE YALL! I would act out “a call to Pierre” in front of my mirror like every night when I was in middle school so this was big for me. Anyways stay old schooled, strict and kind 🤞

I’m so thankful for my community @pacemusicaltheater

As my final show at Pace University comes to a close, I reminisce about the places I’ve been and how grateful I am for every hand that helped in lifting me up mentally, spiritually and physically 😭.

Thank you to @philcolgan for your vision with me in your brilliant production, thank you for allowing me to work with the amazing @jsuemrtinez, this duo is one for the century and that is all due to you.

A special thank you to @ortizange for your continued belief in me. You met me as a freshman and believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. Pilot is still one of the hardest roles I’ve ever done and I couldn’t have done it without you. The next year you entrusted me once more playing HUD in hair with the incomparable @mayte_n and finally we’re here and my time at Pace has come to an end. I can’t think of a Pace musical without you and I can’t believe we can’t sneak in one more. I’m so endlessly grateful I got the opportunity to work with you for so many years. Until the next time!! Again…😭

📣☄️🔥 Bravi tutti, gang! Proud @pacemusicaltheater voice teacher here! I am over the moon proud of my Pace BFA MT voice students and their colleagues, on stage and off, who dazzled us all last night in our opening night performance of Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812!
☄️ Last night was a thrilling reminder of how truly talented our students are. 💙✨💛 Their tremendous vocalism and artistry were on full display in @philcolgan ‘s electric direction and coreograohy! Congratulations all, and thank you for opening our gorgeous new facility in such fine style! Here’s to a wonderful rest of the run!
Much love,
Dr. Peter
