It is bitter sweet as these boys head into their last match of the season. They have been through sooo many ups and also experienced the downs that life throws their way. 🇺🇸We are grateful for this land and the freedoms we have to play this game they love so much. There is more than just the sacrifices these boys and their families make to give them the opportunity play this amazing sport…. 🇺🇸We know there have been larger sacrifices given by others we don’t even know that have sacrificed to serve, protect and gave their lives paying the ultimate sacrifice. We honor those hero’s that came before us and never came home and also give respect to their families who have lost loved ones…. We give praise to them that served and are still serving. 🇺🇸 “Nothings Ever Free” 🇺🇸 “Gone But Never Forgotten “🇺🇸 #state48fc #ratedsports

One might think a 1-0 Victory Match may not have that much excitement. Although no one sees the blood… sweat… and tears that these boys put in week after week all the injuries and rolls of tape to bandage up the bumps and bruises. This fight and determination comes well before they step out on the field… it’s the countless hours of training … mentally preparing themselves hours before each game and building the bonds , the trust and communication between each teammate over the months. The effort you see on the field is just the tip of the iceberg of all the work put in off the field. This 1-0 Victory as the underdogs going into this Match is exactly what they have been preparing for !!! You Earned It State48 El Mirage Boys !!!

Your 2010 State 48 El Mirage Boys took another step forward. They took home the championship Trophy in the Rivalries Cup Tournament. Every player contributed and brought their own piece of the puzzle when the team needed them the most. Even to the family members on the sidelines had a role in motivating these boys to the very last whistle blown. It takes more than 1 individual to have success it takes the support of the parents and the family. Congratulations to these Young Men you all should be proud of what you accomplished this weekend.
