The best thing about show day? The people you survive prep with. 🤍

The women who hype you up at 5 a.m. cardio, keep you laughing when you’re running on zero carbs, and somehow make the prep trenches. (@bshaefit @shoes4toni @jesmojica @sam_normann )

Loved spending show day with you : @lisa_futurepro @ps__87__ @jordanaalexiss @nubianphnx_of_steel @judithlegall

This. This is what it is all about. Not the wins. The losses. It’s about the beauty of the sport - the things you learn about yourself and the people you get close to because they are in it too. Remember to always find the joy! We CHOOSE to compete.. it is supposed to be fun ! Make it amazing ! Make it fun! Be kind backstage! You never know the friendships you will make ! DM me to TAG!! Xxoo natty girlies!!

I was able to attend the @npcwomensworkshop on January 25th in Orlando, FL! I was one of 500 ladies able to participate. This is my third year in a row and I’m grateful for the opportunity!

I flew in on Friday and was able to train and pose at @ironreligiongym with dear friend @natchandl. We met backstage at a show in 2020 and became fast friends when we both realized we were Moms of 4.

She’s a nerd about training and nutrition like me and I love her knowledge and what she teaches me. We had dinner and friend and posing client @blackish_queen_kt joined us. We bodybuilding gals can eat!

Saturday was the workshop and the place was packed! They had a coffee bar and we were able to shop the vendors before the event began at 9A.

I was able to design my suit with @toxicangelzbikinis. I really appreciate being able to do that IN person, ask questions, and allow the suit designer the ability to see my body and help me select the best design!

I spoke in person with a federation rep who looked at me to confirm that I’m best suited for the Bikini division. I’ve got a larger upper body and that does not align with the Fit Model criteria, so I’m happy to hear this before testing the category in a few shows this year. That sure saved me so much time, energy, and money….carrying on as planned!

The seminar was wonderful to hear from judges, promoters, Pros, and fellow athletes about the sport: prep, nutrition, show day, stage presence, posing, reverse dieting, masters athletes, and natural shows. We were served a yummy lunch and I ate up. I was then able to pose in a group with Ms. Masters Bikini Olympia @jessfitvet and it was a joy to have her guidance!

We went out to dinner again and it was fun to enjoy some Mexican and dessert with these like-minded ladies. This was a great final-hoorah as I turned the corner last Monday and headed into prep for my May and July shows.

I can’t wait to go back and keep meeting new ladies in the sport, catch up with old friends, and continue to keep developing my craft as a Coach, Trainer and active athlete in the NPC!

Thank you @npcnewsonlineofficialpage for providing this wonderful opportunity for us! ❤️

NPC Universe photo dump
I have so much fun representing @officialgasp and @officialbetterbodies at these events. Not only do I get to represent the best in the industry But I get to have some fun doing it while displaying our core values: No Compromises, Being Relentless, and having No Excuses with so many likeminded people. We work hard to put on these events but the memories and friends we make along the way is priceless. Seeing people I’ve met at previous shows, meeting new people and meeting friends from IG for the first time is one of my favorite perks of the job. Til next time!!! 💪🏼❤️🔥
