this show was a spectacular moment of growth for me and my co-director @jules.makes. I am so grateful she asked me my thoughts about mashing improv and sewing together for a show last year! Our finale show in June was a motorcycle gang delight, and my self-drafted organza number over a new @helens__closet #orcharddress was the final make of the run!

We didn't realize we were going full Wicked/Cosmo&Wanda until we got to the theater. What a treasure of a memory this will be! 💚🩷

Great news, y’all! As of today (Sept 1, 2022), the Fremont Tote, Maywood Totepack, and Slabtown Backpack have been updated to be inclusive to a wider range of body sizes! ♥️ Bags, like garments, are not one-size-fits-all. No one should have to wear a bag with uncomfortable straps, or forego a fun project because the finished product isn’t functional on their body.

Follow the link in our bio for a breakdown of exactly what has been updated in each kit and pattern, as well as details on how past customers can access these updates. YAY for more size-inclusivity in bag making! 🎉 We’re committed to building size-inclusive strap-length options into all future Klum House bags from this point forward.

Bolt gifted me this lovely @robertkaufman Big Sur Canvas in a dreamy moss green and the excellent @merchantandmills September Coat.

My gift to myself this season. ✨
Second #wildergown from @fridaypatterncompany that really lives up to the gown name. ✨
Inspiration from @theladywholunches ’s more summery version using a silk organza fabric that’s structured and transparent paired over an #ogdencamihack in black silk. ✨
Again, this pattern is so flexible/customizable that I enjoyed challenging myself by doing my first French seams and working with two types of silk. ✨
