Cleared by the trickle of stardust
And hope
A million steps, ascending the slope

The happiest place on earth isn't Disneyland - It's Cherry Studios tracking guitars with the homeslice.

A picture worth a thousand words…

Today, I listened to the final masters of Reincarnation Blues, an album that was made lovingly over the course of several years at The Rangy, my home studio. Nestled in the basement of my childhood home, I painstakingly built this colourful space station piece by piece. A place to withdraw, to experiment, to sort out my thoughts after all the years or running, touring, and chasing white rabbits from Los Angeles to Europe, South America and beyond.

So much happened while I was there. Quietly, unglamorously, alone as well as with the many artists that trickled through as I built up my production chops. So many deep conversations, connections and milestones… Writing, recording, mixing Osheaga live sessions, Pandemic live streams, my transition into fatherhood…

The Rangy no longer exists as pictured in the computer monitor you see here. It was dismantled after a flood. And by the grace of the music Gods, I have since upgraded to a new amazing studio (🍒), where I’ve been tweaking, polishing and shining up all those sounds, memories and vibes into a finished Mangy Pride record.

So yeah… just taking a moment here to be grateful for the journey, for the music, and for the continued support. Stay tuned, lovelies… I got stuff to share. 🎵🌵✨🌗
